“Labor force” isn’t a term — it’s an exhaustive list of the things that sustain the economy.
How about we get the number of people who’ve never been in the labor force, period?
Something tells me those people are never counted, I wonder why that is?
Subtract all those who work for government (except for air traffic controllers and highway engineers, etc.) and the number of people actually producing something tangible is quite small.
