For the record, while in the Navy, I was – from time to time – forced to stand at attention for awards ceremonies. But at least at those, there was more decorum, less smirking, and somebody at least said SOMETHING.

I can’t begin to imagine the Rebel soldiers’ discomfort level at this thing.
