Random Thoughts: SJW, Birthday, and Taken 3

I’m just glad that none of the Professor Layton games ever had the puzzle “Fold a shirt.”

If a social justice warrior doesn’t publicly back-pat himself at least once per day, he’ll devolve into a racist, misogynist neanderthal.

My daughter’s 4th birthday is coming up and I haven’t thought of what to get her. How about a handshake and my respect?

I give it a 63% chance there is a ninja hanging from the ceiling of the White House right now.

Don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorists, but Obama destroyed healthcare and gave us Ebola to keep us from looking into the moon landing.

“You just got tooked.” -Bob Takenowski, protagonist of Taken, upon shooting a guy

If you saw the Doctor Who Saturday night, it was a real tease, wasn’t it?

  1. Immediately thought of this site when watching that Doctor Who. “Well, we’ve got 100 nukes, and we’re here on the moon…”

You just knew there wasn’t going to be a satisfying resolution there. Peaceniks.

  2. My youngest niece, who turned four in September, really liked the sock monkey that I got her for her fourth birthday. I have found that girls that age, in general, like animals. A book with lots of pictures of animals (provided the animals aren’t, say, snakes) might be a good idea.

Provided that the handshake results in holding her hand and leading her to the pile of My Little Pony (TM) dolls, play sets, licensed clothing, books, dvds, decorations, accessories and related loot, sure.

Also, EdthePastor’s suggestion of a real pony can’t go wrong. Get her a cute little shovel and pail so that she can “help” you muck out the stall (which will be in her bedroom, if she has perfected her Toddler Technique). Good times for all.
