  1. In cash? No, I don’t have that on me.

    In the bank, or in real estate, or in other possessions? No, I don’t really own those, either: the government does. If I don’t pay them an amount of tax that they decide on each year, they repossess them.

    So I’m good, I think.

  2. It said that the average wealth per person was 56,000.
    ‘Course, that ain’t the way it’s divvied up, but that’s what it averages out to.
    But suppose every man, women and child woke up with $56,000 worth of whatever their local currency was. (no more, no less)
    How long do you figure it would take before those who had it before had it again, and the poor ended up just as poor as before (or dead)?
