One of my favorite movies when I was young was Mary Poppins. And, yes, I’m old enough to have seen it in the theaters on it’s first run.
I don’t remember it being quite like this, though.
There’s a long drawn-out story as to why this was on my mind. Not just the movie, but the Scary Mary aspect of it. Long story. For another time. Maybe.
Anyway, it was what was on my mind. Since it’s Monday Night Open Thread, we actually want to know what’s on your mind?
Who wants to start?
Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

The whole thing is funny however.
I haven’t seen Mary Poppins in 10 years. But I can still sing several of the songs.
Have never watched Mary Poppins other than a few glances on TV that sent me running like I was being chased by Illinois Nazis. Did watch The Girl With All The Gifts earlier tonight and was highly entertained. Best to go into that completely clueless other than knowing it’s set in a post-apocalypse world in England and veers off the course of others of it’s genre.
