I’ve never done any formation flying, but I have done formation marching, and it’s pretty much the same principle – watch the guy next to you, and keep his relative position static.

If you could have one wish come true what would it be?
I wish someone would reboot “Jurassic Park” so that it’s about a plucky young zookeeper who, despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles (including evil government bureaucrats who are getting bribed by Disney to stop it), manages to successfully open the world’s first cloned dinosaur zoo.
There was a Doctor Who convention, and one of the only two surviving cast members from the very first show were there. Carol Ann Ford, who played The Doctor’s granddaughter Susan, was scheduled, but canceled the week before. But William Russell, who is now 93 and played Susan’s school teacher Ian Chesterton, who began traveling with The Doctor, was there.
If you haven’t seen Doctor Who, you might have seen him in The Great Escape (Sorren) or in The Man Who Never Was (Joe, Lucy’s actual fiancé). His son, Alfie Enoch was in the Harry Potter movies (Dean Thomas).
