I Always Check the One-Stars to See if They’re Something Petty and Irrelevant Like “Amazon Shipped the Wrong Color”

A consumer group says glowing reviews from unverified buyers are a “telltale sign of ‘fake’ reviews,” and said its findings showed they had become a “serious problem” in online shopping.

Huh… that’s weird. I thought widespread consensus meant “the science is settled”.

  1. In computer hardware reviews, I like the ones that say, “The board was fried after a week”. Nine times out of ten they were overclocking the doo-doo out of it. Then got all upset when it crashed and burned.
