Yeah, that character was great but the actor is a pathetic Leftist who proudly wore a p*ssy hat.
I can’t stand Amy Poehler, and her character grated on me constantly. However, the show was a riot, except for the final season. Perhaps my favorite scene:

they lost me after the election season. it got too Amy Poehelrey after than and I lost interest.
Seems like the message of almost every episode is “if you ignore all criticism of your leftist ideology and just keep doing what you’re doing, the more incompetently you do it the more successful you’ll be”
I also found it odd that a bunch of people who don’t work in local government would be constantly hanging out at the city government office despite having full time jobs elsewhere.
