Sharpton Eulogizes Cokie Roberts With Picture of Christiane Amanpour
freebeacon | September 17, 2019 | Nic RowanMSNBC PoliticsNation host Al Sharpton mourned the passing of journalist Cokie Roberts on Tuesday by sending out a tweet with pictures of the still-living journalist Christiane Amanpour.
Sharpton tweeted, “Saddened to hear of the passing of legendary journalist Cookie [sic] Roberts. Here is a Easter Sunday special we did in 2011. May she Rest In Peace,” along with several pictures of Amanpour. Aside from the obvious misidentification of the deceased, Sharpton misspelled Roberts’s name.
Critics were quick to point out Sharpton’s errors, and he deleted the tweet.

Whoops!
“So, you have an obituary for me?”
Yes Sir I do.
“Are you going to write a heartfelt eulogy for the press, devote some of your broadcast to a retrospective; or go with a 32-character bid for attention and just dash off a tweet?”
(happily) “I’m going to dash off a tweet!”
“Well, who died?”
(bewildered) “I don’t know.”
“Well, why are you showing photos of a live woman?”
“I’m going to have to ask you to get ALL of the way off my back on this.”
Okay then.
To Sharpton, all honkeys look alike.
You know how it is. All white people look alike.
I agree with both of you with the small caveat that Amanpour is half Iranian which qualifies her, as far as the Left is concerned, as a “Woman of Color”. Tsk, tsk Mr. Sharpton.
Al Sharpton….what a maroon, what a nimrod, what a spedmo, what a duface.
