Giant new post from Bill Whittle!
Just saw it and haven’t read it yet, but I assume it should get you psyched for the elections if it’s anything like the rest of his writing.
It’s funny; I just e-mailed him this weekend, and, after not getting a response, I was about to declare him dead and take his stuff. Guess I’ll have to wait.
Anyway, on to read the post. It starts with the tale of a $7.00 nuclear submarine…
UPDATE:
First he shoots down that stupid “Chickenhawk” argument used by the intellectually lazy (i.e., most liberals)…
UPDATE 2:
Next he takes on bumper sticker slogans, proving for a fact that Bush is very smart or he’d have been a flaming crater on the side of a mountain long ago.
UPDATE 3:
“Doves think the choice is between fighting or not fighting. Hawks think the choice is between fighting now or fighting later.”
UPDATE 4:
Wow. He really put the war into perspective; especially effective was explaining what things would be like if the shoe was on the other foot. Makes my own argument today to continue the war to victory weak and feeble in comparison; that’s why I don’t do much serious blogging.
And the Islamic radicals as dope-fiend analogy is spot on.
Everyone go read now!

I must say, that was an excellent read. Thank you much for the link!
Frank, leave this man’s stuff alone. Finally a blogger with honed critical thinking skills. Thanks for the link and thanks that you stick to teh funny and leave the serious thoughts to those better equipted to impart them.
allthatsright,
I can be serious if I want! Man can’t live on silliness alone.
I was not going to read it tonight as his essays are so damn long, but once I started I had to finish it. Thanks for the tip Frank!
allthatsright,
Frank can say it right when he wants to.
He’s simply chosen his avenue of delivery to be humorous. and to involve ninjas and blind samurais.
First the Orson Scott Card editorial and now this. Amazing stuff, keep on the lookout for us 🙂
HKPistole,
You’re right. Besides I love ninjas and blind samurais. Frank, if man can’t live on silliness alone, explain San Francisco and the rest of the left coast.
Thank you, Frank! I very much appreciate your recommending him. Excellent article indeed!
