Irish Fatherhood

(Million-times-forwarded-email submitted by VW Bug [High Praise!])

I took my son out for his first pint.

Got him a Fosters…..he didn’t like it – I had it.

Then I got him Carlsberg, he didn’t like it, I had it.

It was the same with Bitter, Guinness, and Cider.

By the time we got down to the whisky, I could hardly push the bloody pram.

  1. There’s Irish fatherhood – and then there’s Irish grandfatherhood. I’m waiting on the latter (any day now).

BTW, Harvey, it’s Earth Hour tonight at 8:30 p.m! I’ll be lighting-up the sky and simultaneously burning as much carbon as I can.

  2. @1 – Well, in honor of both Earth Hour and Irish grandfatherhood, I will light a potato for you.

By the way, when the baby arrives, drop a comment. I’d like to make a fuss over it & let the Moon Nukers do likewise.

    Is this your first grandchild?
