  1. No mention of how much it cost to repair and who paid for it. There is no limit to the technological wonders you can achieve with unlimited amounts of other people’s money, and other people’s Monet.

  2. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and will not be allowed in any gallery for 15 months after his release.

    Upon raiding Mr Shannon’s Dublin home after his arrest, police found nearly 50 stolen items, including valuable artworks, books and antiques.

    5 years? for causing millions in damage ? People get more than that for stealing $1500 in bank robberies.

    The poor guy won’t be able to do it again for 6 whole years, I guess that’s punishment enough.
