When I was a kid, the TV channel Nickelodeon had an annual contest where you could win a Toys R Us five minute shopping spree in which could run around Toys R Us and grab all the toys you could in a five minute period. That’s like winning the lottery times a million to a kid.
When the Democrats took power this year, getting a liberal in the White House and majorities in the House and Senate, this was like their Toy R Us shopping spree. They quickly realized that their majority isn’t going to last long because of how people hate pretty much everything a liberal likes, so they have to pass as much liberal legislation as they can in their five minutes. That’s why when they took power and had a war and a failing economy to deal with, they were like, “We want toys!” and went on to their usual liberal stuff like health care and global warming like everything else was fine.
Luckily, they’re really clumsy about it, tripping over themselves and knocking over isles and such. Hopefully they’ll end their spree with sad faces not having gotten all the toys they really wanted. Otherwise, conservatives will have to get back in charge and then smash all their toys while liberals watch. People will hate us for it, but it will be fun.

And what if Holdren poisons the water supply in five minutes?
conservatives will have to get back in charge and then smash all their toys while liberals watch. People will hate us for it, but it will be fun.
only the liberals will hate that, oh and maybe some squishey moderate. we’ll take there toys too and smash them to be on the safe side.
Heh. I’m getting a visual of Pelosi starting a domino-effect tipping-over of display shelves while reaching for something totally stupid on the top. And she can’t wipe the smile off of her face because it’s stuck. Heh.
When I was a kid THE TV channel was called channel 3 but the country had just gotten done kicking the butt of the Axis powers and people knew that commies were dangerous. Now we elect them president!
Frank, this is a good pre-Christmas analogy for kids who get coal in their stocking when they’ve been bad.
Speaking of coal, I’m running out and am reduced to burning wood. I wish Santa would bring ME coal! I’ve been bad, BAD!! I promise.
…unless you can bring me some Democrats to burn…. Sizzle. Sizzle.. Warrrrm.
You see, Democrats don’t “crackle.” They sizzle (like fatty bacon). And they do this: §
Hold on. I’m getting attacked by conservatives a little early today!
Column idea: 10 Things A Liberal Would Grab At A Toys-R-Us Shopping Spree.
BTW there really needs to be a reverse R as part of the standard ANSI character code set.
Sorry, Jimmy, no coal. We’re no longer permitted to mine it.
Yeah, Marko, I’m trying to figure out why I can buy a coal burning stove but there’s no retail coal for sale anywhere in the NW. My usual suppler “hasn’t been able to get any.” I’ve scoured the Internet, also. WTF is going on?
Anyone wanna start a retail coal distribution business with me? Maybe also run a clandestine coal mine? Carbon rocks are sweet.
Marko, I read that three major coal fields in PA could supply the entire US with energy for 400 years.
Well, I wouldn’t know too much about the coal bidness, Jimmy. My area is full of farm boys, not coal miners.
However, I do know that we also have plenty of natural gas here, but, no dice.
And that dangerous power plant on an island near Harrisburg? Still operational today, as far as I know. Again, no dice on building any more of those.
I often wonder if the Lenape will reclaim their land if good old Uncle Sam continues to ruin us. I do hope the Lenape are smarter.
Just so we keep Obama’s Buggerer In Chief, the guy who think sex with children is swell! It doesn’t get any better than that!
I’ll wager that the descendants of the Lenape are smarter, Marko. But then, that might be a safe bet.
Happy 3 year old (A), playing with a toy, sees another 3 year old (B) playing happily with another toy. 3 year old (A) abandons the toy he’s got, walks across the room and snatches toy from 3 year old (B). Fight ensues, both 3 year olds screaming “Mine! Mine!” at the top of their lungs.
Letting congress have everything they want is like that – it’s not how much they have that counts, only having more than someone else. ToysRus analogy holds true.
I would agree, Jimmy.
By the way, Jimmy, would you be interested in some nice, clean burning, semi-bituminous coal? To heck with the government and their regulations, I say. Enough demand and the narrow gauge pride of the East, the East Broad Top Railroad, will start hauling freight again with those crisp little Mikados, just the way it should be.
I hope the Lenape can operate a steam locomotive. Would be a shame if the state’s resources and those fine little EBT Mikados all went to waste.
Interesting, Marko. Out here in the West, narrow gauge was used a lot for hauling logs. There used to be narrow gauge track right through the area where I live.
Bituminous? Sure. Anthracite is even better. Low sulfur, of course. CO2 is not a pollutant but the sulfur compounds definitely are. They change the pH of everything they touch.
Whatever happened to “Clean,” btw? I guess it was replaced by “Green.” Green can still be very dirty but most people don’t think of that.
I picture the Democrats as more of a five minute shopping spree by the Dillinger gang,
or the hoards of Norsemen from the CapitalOne ads…
‘Who took YOUR wallet?’
When Conservatives/Republicans get back in the majority, and take the Dhimmicrats’ toys and break them, can we expect the Dhimmis to gather in a circle in the town square, holding hands, singing ‘Yahoo Dory’?
More likely, the Industrial Media Complex will immediately cry “Grinch!”
By the way, you’re a mean one Mr. Frank J.
As for the Dems, it’s time to sneak a Toys R Us sign over the entrance to the dollar store near me. The Taxpayers would save and the Obamaites would drool over the Obama-as-Jesus paintings.
Jimmy: When coal is outlawed, only outlaws will have coal.
But when only outlaws have coal, the inlaws will freeze. Ba da
dingbonk.SO true! Good observations! I never would have thought of it like that, I just throught they were a bunch of spoiled, rotten little kids.
more like piggly wiggly the rotten little brats i’m such a newt grinch LOL
Was I the only one who saw the Toys R Us shopping spree highlights on Nickelodeon and wondered why the kid didn’t just load up on video games (high cost, low volume), sell them, and buy whatever the hell else he wanted?
