The Michael Moore website is back! He even has a link to how the election was stolen. See, liberal ideas didn’t fail, they wuz robbed!
Look at the opening paragraph:
When I spoke with Jeff Fisher this morning (Saturday, November 06, 2004), the Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida’s 16th District said he was waiting for the FBI to show up. Fisher has evidence, he says, not only that the Florida election was hacked, but of who hacked it and how. And not just this year, he said, but that these same people had previously hacked the Democratic primary race in 2002 so that Jeb Bush would not have to run against Janet Reno, who presented a real threat to Jeb, but instead against Bill McBride, who Jeb beat.
Whoa, slow down there, Skippy. There’s a couple things wrong with that statement. Now, I was here in Florida during this, and all the analysts thought McBride had a better chance of winning because Reno was too polarizing (it’s like she was running for Governor of Florida just because she felt she hadn’t quite pissed off the Cubans enough), but the Democrats were worried Reno would win the primary because of name recognition. We Republicans had a conundrum of whether to root for Reno or not; she’d be the easier opponent, but, then again, there would actually be a chance of her being governor (I think my opinion was clear in this post and this post).
Now, the other problem with that excerpt is, if the Republicans could easily rig voting, why would they care who won the Democrat primary since they could just rig the general election?
Nuts. Plain nuts.
Anyway, Michael Moore wants to hear from soldiers and veterans. Maybe you could drop him a line and CC me what you said.

I actually looked at the site. I can’t believe I did it. He links to an article in The Hill by Dick Morris to back up his claims of voter fraud. MM ends his “article” by quoting Morris:
“This was no mere mistake. Exit polls cannot be as wrong across the board as they were on election night. I suspect foul play.”
Ha. Even Dick Morris agrees! Therefore, I’m right.
I guess he doesn’t expect his usual readers to go out and read the articles he links to. Morris is actually attributing the foul play to the pollsters.

I am a veteran. 4 years in the USAF. I was going to write to Moore, but after reading the letters he posts, I realized he is looking for letters from whiners and cry-babys. I’ve seen plenty of those in the military, so I know they exist. They are the ones who join up and realize that serving your country is not easy. They are the one who complain about getting busted for smoking pot (“But it should be legel!”) when they know the consequenses of getting caught.
If Mr. Moore really wanted the truth, he would also post the letters of those who support President Bush and our war on terror. But he is not looking for truth, he is looking for hype. And because there are 10s of thousands of troops in Iraq, I am sure he will find a few that hate being there and will write what he wants to hear.
On the other hand, who knows how many of those letters are real. How many did he make up? How many are written by people who never served, or never even went to Iraq? How many of these letters are written by “Winter Soldiers”? My guess is more than a few. If John Kerry can get people to lie for him and condemn a generation of soldiers, I am sure Michael Moore can as well.
Michael Moore does not deserve the time of day from our true heros.
Hey, here’s an idea, why don’t we all write to him, pretending to be serving in Iraq? We can tell him stories about how we hate being there, about how we kill civilians, dogs, etc. About how we poison the water and food. About how we sell weapons to the terrorists. We can make up the most horrendous stuff and see if he posts it. Whattaya think?
I’d rather eat my own colon out of a pot of boiling oil, than spend a milisecond contributing to that “persons” website. As a matter of fact I’m dissappointed I’ve invested this much time in thinking about him. I will now go seek counseling.
By the way, as a soldier, I find inspiration in people with views that oppose mine. I find that they reinforce the sacrifices that so many make. Our freedom to disagree allows Americans to choose only the best, and most detailed courses of action in all of our endeavors. That being said, his abuse of the “Freedom of Information Act”, and subsequent clip in his movie, misrepresenting the wishes of that soldier who lost an arm was the most nauseating abuse of our Constitution that I ever could have imagined. I can trully say that I hate him, and, as a soldier, who needs the country behind me and my chain of command to succeed; the amount of damage he’s done to our country’s morale, and sense of unity, far outweighs what damage was done on 9/11.
That map of “Jesusland” didn’t look all that bad. But I could watch for only a milisecond because of all that bulls**t on that dumbass page.
Well, it seems there are no surprizes on that site. Filthy hollywood hedonists like Michael Moore can say what they want and try to cram their BS down the American people’s throats all they want. If this election shows anything, it’s that the American people are not as gullible as Moore or the Mass Media believe. It’s rather sad though, that someone thinks it’s okay to exploit the brave men and women in the Armed Services to push their socialistic agenda. What’s even sader is how easy it is. Example:

Then, the amoralists turned freedom of religion into freedom from religion and carefully moved the religion of the institutions to secular humanism. they then enforced it’s teaching it to our children while pouring it down our throats through the Paper and the Idiot-box. (ie. Evolution, I’m not saying its imposible, but explain to me the detailed evolution of bacterial phlagellum and rationalize the RNA-cell gap before saying you only believe science and I take everything on faith)

I just noticed that this was an article from some left-wing site that Moore republished. The kicker is Moore removed a large portion of the article when he re-published it! The portion he removed contains possible explanations for the discrepancies he cites!

I agree with kevkersey, those letters seem to be written by the kind that never should have enlisted. I loved the one from the idiot who shot himself in the hand. Also, I believe that some of the letters are fake. (I grew up a military brat & served 8 years.) One writer was shocked to learn that Reserves aren’t issued side arms. But enlisted are rarely given pistols, only rifles which are better in combat. Another complained that he can’t get VA treatment because his records were burnt in a fire. But there are more than 1 set of records & where is his paperwork? Another wrote of his plane landing under combat conditions in Iraq but the AF would never land a plane in those conditions. Are people writing in with these lies or is Mikey writing his own?
Funny, he’s using numbers from FL counties saying that the large number of votes for Bush, in counties with a hefty % of democrats, proves it was hacked. Is Moore the only leftie out there who hasn’t realized the truth yet. . . the Dems lost the South ages ago!
