  1. Rall says, “But when talk radio, cable television news, and all three branches of the federal and most state governments are under the control of the right, the blogger wolf pack merely serves to further ossify a dangerously out of whack ideological imbalance.”
I guess an “ideological imbalance” is a bad thing? So if only 1% of Americans like rape, do the 99% that do not constitute a “dangerously out of whack ideological imbalance”? Liberals just can’t stand it that they are out numbered.

  2. i can’t believe this festering piece of distended rectum has again stuck his head out from uder whatever rock he resides–and this time to lecture us about journalistic integrity!
    i love this gem:
“Death threats against liberal pundits are commonplace among, and essentially unique to, the right-wing blogs. And the GOP thinks that’s OK. Nowhere can one find a responsible mainstream Republican to speak out against this hate speech.”
i would love to see any evidence that this statement is true–or a citation to any legitimate source supporting it

  3. It doesn’t really help Rall’s case that the MSM is superior to bloggers because of “sources” if the darling of the left-liberal print, the NYT, hired and kept someone the likes of Jayson Blair for so many years.
Like the Rantblogger says, “Better Dead Than Ted!”

  4. ANYONE who could work Eason Jordan, Barney Frank, The WP and multiple Al Jazeera references into a single paragraph deserves out sympathy. See, I just did it and it wasn’t that difficult. He is a slack jawed amateur thinker that is being held back only by his lack of “ready cash” . . . someone please send Ted a quarter so he can buy some satisfaction.
Mr. Rall is pathetic, and so are his toons.

  5. Moreover, conservative blogs mirror their mainstream counterparts by applying a far angrier and more violent tone than that of their liberal foes.
I guess that fantasies about assassinating the President and calling Condi a “house nigga” don’t qualify as “angry” or “violent” in Ted Rall’s wretched little universe. >_>

  6. Jesus F’n Christ! This guy is a f**king sshole! Is it just me or is this guy (like most liberals)completely out of touch with reality? He implies that MSM is cowing in submission to “the powers that be” Did he not watch the news or read a paper last year?! Those bstards were attacking the Pres. every chance they got! And calling Guantanamo a “concentration camp” really bites my ss! Ok… let me calm down. “Drunk, mean and works for the bad guys” Ha, I guess this pompous prck has never visited moveon.org.

  7. It seems to have escaped his own attention that his article was, essentially, a blog entry, and not a very logical one at that. But we shouldn’t expect much more from him: his cartoons have been the dross in the world of political cartooning for years.

  8. Can Rall please back up some of his statements? And why does the universe allow someone of Rall’s stupidity and poor art skills to exist? There has to be a sort of scientific law prohibiting this.
