Question of the Day

Did Kerry stall on releasing his military record because he was afraid he’d lose his intellectual status when people saw his grades at Yale, because his college picture make him looked like a stoned Lurch, or because of something more nefarious?
I’m not much of a conspiracy theorist, so I’m going to say it’s a combination of the first two.
What do you think?

  1. The grades yes. It is so funny to see the brain-boy one-upped by his own scholastic record.
The picture; chilling. And, might I add, “Ewwwwwwwwwwww!”
Plus, not everything is released, from what I hear.
But the grades would have been bad enough if they HAD been released before the election.

  2. Something far, far more nefarious. The eeevviiil bible-thumping neocon hit-squad from Frat Boys for Truth were preparing evidence that showed Lurch was actually FAILING French and had to get his upstairs maid to take the final exam for him!!!!!

  3. We will never see his entire records. He may be dumb, but he is not that dumb.
We know Carter changed his discharge to honorable. From what?
With three purple hearts to get out of Vietnam he had to have had a psych evaluation. It was required to use that excuse. From what I know personly about his service in Vietnam, he would never have passed that exam, thus the need for a discharge change, and the need to hide his medical info forever. No law says he has to release this information so I believe he won’t. Never mind that he lied on the Tin Russert show and said he would give it out.

and the simple fact as I see it is that Kerry promised to release his records, yet even now he has released whatever he has released ONLY to the Boston Globe! Why do that instead of making them available if, indeed, he’s on the level?
I’m also very puzzled by one logical contradiction; if there is nothing in the records that is detrimental, then why would he not release them during the campaign? He suffered a lot of damage by witholding them.

  5. “Hah! Our plan to remove all bad from Comrade Kerry’s record is successful! Now American Swine can verify only good things about Comrade Kerr-….” (What? You had to add 50 points to his grades on top of a curve that assumes all his classmates had the IQ of an inbred vole?)
    Ahem….
“Hah! Our plan to remove all good from Comrade Kerry’s record…”
