This one blows away podcast #2. It doesn’t sound like you are reading from scripts (I actually heard some emotion from people besides SarahK) and there wasn’t a single section that I didn’t enjoy.
This is definitely a new benchmark for your podcast.

I liked the end part the best… when the little kid is ask “what’s a democrat?” and the kid answers “someone that’s sick in the head” haha that is the best quote ever…
Where to start? I’m watching Fox News (big surprise there) and there was this soldier in Iraq signing “I love you” to his deaf daughter here in the States. Then I hear Sarah singing the National Anthem. Just singing it. Without guile or sarcasm…just respectfully and beautifully. I’ve gotta grab another tissue.

I’m so hockey starved I actually yelled out ‘STARS’ during Sarah K’s outstanding rendtion of the Star Spangled Banner.
Fortunately, not many people are in the office today, so I didn’t get too many strange looks. At least, no more than usual.

Really enjoyed “Buck The Marine”, “Fun Facts About Colorado” and SarahK’s “Star Spagled Banner”. Both stanzas.
The interviewing little kids was a stroke of genius on this fine day!

Natural and professional sounding, fun and funny. You guys work so well together, Sara sings like an angel, and the kid at the end…priceless.
(The kinda kid you wanna just grab up and smooch until he screams and calls ya names. lol)

This is definately the best one yet. From the beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner by Sarah K to my new favorite bit, Buck the Marine, it was great all around. You guys really have found your stride.

Just when I thought I would forever only be impressed by your humor, flahes of knife-wielding psychosis, cuteness and singing voice – you went and threw me another curve (the first one was the voice, after all this time just seeing the t-shirt girl)…
You know the second part of the Star Spangled Banner.
I had long ago come to accept that I was the only one – all that time spent grumbling when people sit down “before the song is over”.

Very funny, but you need to watch the microphones. I listened through my stereo and there was a lot of um… I don’t know what it’s called, but you can really hear it when Frank is talking about pie.

I don’t hate spacemonkey. I mean, look at the history of spacemonkeys – Ham the chimp from Mercury, Bloop and Bleep(?) from Wonder Twins, Dial M For Monkey on Dexters Lab, that married chimp couple from Planet of the Apes, Chewbacca – noble space monkeys/apes/furry bipeds all. OK, there were those spider monkeys that pooped up the space shuttle, but that was the cage designer’s fault, dammit!!! They should have put little million dollar toilets in the cages!
The winey liberal voice is the only part of podcasts I skip the second time through. Thanks for NOT including it lately. If I want to hear winey liberals make fools of themselves, I’ll turn on my television, radio, or cell phone.
You’ve really hit your stride! Wonderful job. The little things really impress, such as using the left and right channels to create a sense of direction during the action scenes. How many podcasts have those kind of production values?
With this episode, it won’t be long before you’re the Lords of the Podcast-o-sphere. 🙂
