Speaking of the French … OK, I can’t actually think of a connection here. I just wanted to find out what’s going on with the Carnival of Comedy. I never saw last week’s and I haven’t seen one today. Has it been cancelled? Am I wasting my time sending in entries? I’d hate to think people are just laughing at my entry. I mean, it would be OK to laugh at it if you were laughing at it because it was funny, but I wouldn’t want you laughing at it because there isn’t a Carnival any more. Well, I guess I wouldn’t mind you laughing at it because there isn’t a Carnival any more as long as I didn’t know about it, but the point is that I suspect this is just what is going on on Monkey Island where many dark and nefarious deeds are done according to all the rumors.
I guess what I’m trying to say … well, trying to ask, if I may be so brief, is: is there still a Carnival of Comedy or is the IMAO team just callously allowing us to continue sending entries even though they are being laughed at –in the bad way– and then vanishing into the great dustbin of current entries to former carnivals or did I possibly just miss an announcement somewhere?
A brief answer would be appreciated.
