Orson Scott Card is a genius writer of fiction; why shouldn’t he be right?
Did you know that Dr. Victor Davis Hanson is a registered Democrat? My heart broke when I found out.
So there are some smart Democrats. They just need to make the jump and join the Republican Party.
I’ve read Orson Scott Card’s commentary for a long time. Although he’s a registered Democrat, he has always been a strong supporter of G. W. Bush.
I like how several Democrats have turned against him and called him a homophobe, mainly because he’s an Orthodox Mormon and that’s a tenet of his religion. However, if you read Card’s literature, he actually writes homosexual characters in a rather positive light.
OSC is a conservative guy. It surprised me he claims to be a Democrat. I’d bet 10 bucks since he “joined back in the 1970’s” he voted for Carter, Reagan, Reagan, Bush, Perot, Dole, Bush, Bush.
I don’t know about Reagan. Previous articles have been very critical of Reagan’s economic policies. He doesn’t seem to be too big of a fan of Bush Sr., either, but I can’t see him voting to either Dukakis of Clinton.
