BOISE!
Most exciting college game I have ever seen. Wish I was still back in Boise for this win (though watching it on HD is hard to beat). The touchdown that brought the game into OT is one for the books.

Yeah, at least THOSE Broncos won. I still wish Denver could’ve made it to the playoffs… with Darrent.
But the Fiesta Bowl was a great game to watch. I thought for sure OU was gonna win in OT. That final 2 pt conversion by Boise was an excellent play.
Do I hear someone screaming playoffs? How does anybody else get the national championship if Ohio State loses. A sole undefeated Boise State would sure raise some questions.
I hated for OU to lose, but that was truly an awesome game. Too bad Paul Thompson gave the ball away four times. That made all the difference. But bravo to the tenacity of both teams – never give up.
I just don’t get HD. I mean, I’ve seen it, I can see that it looks different, but it just doesn’t look any better to me.
While I’m making an idiot of myself, I notice in that column that they call that trick play a “hook-and-lateral”. On my flag football team we called it a hook & ladder. NOW it makes sense.
What a game! Holy crap! I’ve always loved the state of Idaho, and I’m convinced Boise is the best small city in America (yes, Fort Collins, the best, so hush!), and seeing the Broncos beat one of the premier teams in America is icing on the cake. And going for two when they didn’t have to is ballsy.
I’m glad that the team that deserved the win got the win. They game painfully close to giving the game away after dominating the Sooners all night.
Brilliant playcalling down the stretch with the hook-and-ladder and the Statue of Liberty play.

I disagree. They didn’t dominate all night. Giving up 25 unanswered points and putting up virtually zero offense in the second half is not domination. Oklahoma out-played them most of the game, but four silly turnovers hurt them badly. Those turnovers are all that kept Boise State in the game, and then their brilliant trick plays cemented the victory. Bravo to OU for not giving up when they were down by 18, and bravo to BSU for not giving up when they gave away 25 consecutive points and the lead. It was an awesome game from any perspective, and BSU has won some much earned respect.

Best Game Ever! National Champs! The hell with Ohio State and Florida!
