Sheehan is running independently for U.S. Congress for the 9th District seat currently occupied by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She says she wants Pelosi’s, because the 11-term congresswoman has led the House for two years without making good on a promise to end the war.

  1. If she splits the democrat vote in the 9th district, like Ross Perot split the republican vote in ’92, maybe the republican challenger can win.
If there Is a republican challenger in the 9th district.

Say, that’s a good idea, Burt, Pelosi Galore is horrible,
but could you just send us a big stack of absentee ballots so we wouldn’t
    have to actually move there?
The taxes in California are awful,
and the ‘Niner’s roster is full.
