The Obama administration has been attacking FOX News a lot lately. It’s easy to dismiss that as the Obama administration being a bunch of whiny little sissies, but do they have a point? I’ve been looking at some of the recent FOX News headlines — and these are from their supposedly objective news side — and they do seem to be pushing an agenda:

They haven’t fact checked a single joke
or sketch about our dear, dear leader.
FoxNews hasn’t once done the fine investigative journalism of MSNBC. For example, the Keith Olbermann piece on “Is Obama merely delightful or downright dreamy?” was very informative. I had no idea that Obama’s lips taste like strawberries, but thankfully agriculture school-educated Keith informed us it was so.
Meanwhile, Chris Mathews has played a vital role, each day informing the American citizenry of the daily National Barry Obama Orgasmatron rating. Interesting that every day it’s been a 10.
Or, how about Rachel Maddow’s investigative piece on what man she’d most like to look like if she actually had male genitalia? I had no idea it would be Barack Obama.
Meanwhile, over on CNN, Wolf Obama…oh, I’m sorry, he still goes by his maiden name…Wolf Blitzer has done some fine investigative journalism, looking into the backgrounds of anyone who disagrees with his man Barry.
Poor pathetic Fox merely reports the news, with contributors from both sides of the issues. What are they thinking?

Yeah, but these are good questions to ask. Uncommon questions to be sure. But, to be fair we can always ask any and all questions about our current administration. No holds barred.
I mean if other people may be interested in what kind of sandwich the President and Vice President had for lunch or what kind of family dog he intends to get then I may ask but, “Are these not inappropriate questions to be asking of your current administration.” It’s none of my business for one. And, it really gives me no insight into our current POTUS. So, to me these are very, very, very stupid questions.
But, on the other hand, to know if he is a secret Muslim and how that may shape his policy is indeed very interesting to me. And, that most definitely is my business. To know whether the First Lady has the psychological profile of a suicide bomber is definitely my business. And, certainly in my interest to know this. And, these are not stupid questions to me, shocking maybe – odd to be sure but, nonetheless things I both want and need to know. True or not.
So, if only one news agency is willing to broach these queer but important topics then, they will always have the benefit of my full support and attendance.
Because, with a stereoscopic background of the current POTUS and his admin, including his religious beliefs, the psychological makeup of the First Lady, even what kind of food he likes to eat and what motivated him to own a particular breed of dog and not another for his children, I can begin to make plans that affect my life.
Do, for instance, I like this President? Do we eat the same sandwiches? Would we own the same dog for the same reasons? Are we the same religion? Are our wives both potential suicide bombers? If so then I would say, yes. I like this President on a very deep and mutual understanding type of level. I would hang out with this guy.
But, if we don’t eat the same food, own the same dog for the same reasons, are not the same religion, have different types of wives then I would probably say, no. I don’t like this President, personally. I would not hang out with this guy.
And, that makes a very big difference in my life. Because, I am probably not going to agree with him on a lot of his policy decisions on even a personal level. We may even both be of the same political party but I still do not like him. We are too different and his views probably do not reflect my views. We have not much in common.
That leads me to a position where I can not feel very comfortable with this man as my President and the only way to feel comfortable again is to scrutinize every decisions that comes from his White House staff. And, every bill he signs. It makes be politically active when if I liked the man I would probably trust him and not have to be so politically motivated all the time.
I feel like I am On Guard with this man around. That is Democracy.
And, Fox News is a very valuable tool I both need and want and use to defend myself with even the most arcane knowledge of our current POTUS, his Family and his motives that allow me the freedom to feel in control of my government.
And, knowing what kind of dog he has, and why and, what he had for lunch helps me too. That is Freedom.
