Violence is never the answer… unless the question is “What is never the answer?” Then the answer is violence. Actually, I guess that’s a paradox. Probably best to just use violence when you’re not sure about the answer.
Violence is never the answer. However, it can be the Solution.
“Pvt., did you just use violence to kill the enemy?” ” Gosh no Sarge! I used superior firepower just like you taught me!” “Damn fine marksmanship, carry on Pvt.”
In the Obama administration, violence consists of statements about how deeply disappointed we are! The violent part is when we put them on Double Super Secret Probation…
I recall a news reporter interviewing soldiers about to be sent to liberate Kuwait from Iraq. The soldiers were showing off their carry loads of guns, ammo, Claymores, C4 and so on, and the reporter asked one soldier what training the military had given him to succeed in his mission of liberating the Kuwaitis from the Iraqis. Looking down at his 70-odd pounds of violent technology, the soldier smiled, and said something along the lines of, “The Army has trained me and given me skills in managing interpersonal relationships. I will use that training in Kuwait.”
Ever since then , I recall my “interpersonal relationship management skills” when walking down a dark alley to my parked car at night.
Remember, kids, torture the answer until it reveals information regarding itself and information regarding the question.
Hehe.
“What is never correct?”
“Incorrect?”
“Correct.”
“Huh?”

That’s how you can tell they’re incompetent. If they were competent, they would have used it sooner

Also, you get a payout to the tune of approximately $50 million.
I’ve always told my kids, “Violence is only appropriate as a response to violence.”
If everyone followed that rule, there would be no violence…right?
Actually, I see violence as more of the question. The answer is “Yes”.
For example:
“How do we solve this? Violence?”
“Yes!”
Applied properly, violence would be more in the nature of a transitive declarative sentence.
Violence is never the answer. However, it can be the Solution.
“Pvt., did you just use violence to kill the enemy?” ” Gosh no Sarge! I used superior firepower just like you taught me!” “Damn fine marksmanship, carry on Pvt.”
If violence isn’t solving your problems, then your not using enough of it
