What I Heard About Rand Paul

I heard from someone — and I can’t really say who — that Rand Paul when he thought no one was around went on and on about how much he likes big government and taxes. Yeah, that’s right: Apparently Rand Paul secretly loves expanding the government and taxing people. Also, apparently he said:

“The only use I have for the Constitution is toilet paper.”

And I don’t even want to repeat the things he supposedly said about a gold-based dollar.

Anyway, this is just what I heard. Pass it around.

  1. Why, Frank, do you try to draw trolls in? Is it to draw traffic or are you bored?

You need a better hobby. Maybe you should take up deer hunting or fishing. Somewhat similar in their approaches.

  2. * I heard Rand Paul listening to Clay Aiken.
    * Rand Paul plays with dolls.
    * Rand Paul thinks George Bush is comparable to Thomas Jefferson.
    * Rand Paul may well be a Joooo.
    * Rand Paul spat upon a statue of Thomas Jefferson.
    * Rand Paul says 1 + 1 = 2, contrary to repeated statements by Ron Paul.
    * Rand Paul puts his pants on one leg at a time.
    * Rand Paul thinks Alex Jones is nuts.

  3. How the HELL did he get such a hot wife???? I did Google Search for him and found his campaign site in the midst of Stories about his love of the New World Order, his staunch support of turning the country over to the UN, and his promises to grow Government. There is a picture of him with his wife. She’s pretty decent looking. Guy has the KookCinich effect going on.

  4. I think the cause of a lot of political conflict is that Americans want two conservative parties a soft conservative and hard conservative and all we have is two liberal parties.

If you re-watch the 08 GOP debates I think you’ll be surprised that he was right about a lot of things before anyone else. Like the:
    -ill-defined Afghanistan mission
    -hollowing of American manufacturing
-Hollow economic boost based on inflated house prices caused by fed cheap rates

But then I presume most of you here agree with his economic adviser Peter Schiff. As a strategy minded person I can clearly see where the right could sometimes harness the power of the “fringies”. Say what you will about the fringe right but they are the ones who a lot of the grunt work for the party and standing the rain to protest minor local government policies. The left uses taxes to fund their full time “fringies”. Like wind in the sail it may not be blowing where you want to go but you can ride it most of the way and row the rest. It sure beats rowing the whole way.

  5. So, I suppose you folks would prefer former democrat and Bill Clinton supporter Trey Grayson? Sorry, but that’s not who I would pick to replace retiring Jim Bunning.

I like your humor most of the time, Frank, but this one is off. I’m not one of those socially challenged Paulites but I am a conservative and I’ve been a Rand Paul supporter for a long time. I certainly hope he wins the primary. The third guy running on the ticket, Bill Johnson, is a nice guy and a conservative, even has the endorsement of Alan Keyes, but doesn’t have a chance.

Make your Ron/Rand Paul jokes and have your fun. This son of the Commonwealth is voting for him.

  6. I didn’t realize you were a Kentuckian, Frank. Or are you?

I think you have it backwards. Rand Paul supporters are actually doing this to Bill Johnson, calling him a Neo-Con, a RINO and a “shill”……….all false. Change it to Bill Johnson and it will be funny, at least to us Kentuckians.

  7. I heard Frank J. is on Trey Grayson’s payroll.

And that he’s actually a she and crossdresses like he/she’s political mentor, Rudy Guiliani.

Anyway, this is just what I heard. Pass it around.

    Oh wait, I got pics!
