With all the talk by liberals of constantly trying to link the Tea Party with any violence they can and charge whatever evil they can think of on the group, the liberals seem pretty desperate to try and shut up their opposition. I’m starting to wonder if liberals are thinking of bringing back some new form of the Alien and Sedition Acts. It does seem what they’re going for is to claim any dissent is grave harm to the country (and racist!) and will only hurt people.
I’m not mentioning this because I fear anything will come of that. I’m just mentioning it to point out that what liberals are doing now is a really old form of stupid.

Having studied John Adams and his presidency and life, If the sedition acts weren’t passed, the young US would have gone to war with France. At what point does the freedom of the press become sedition? It isn’t that way now. Liberals just don’t like people who think differently than them. But under Adams in 1798, it was necessary. Order versus liberty. Not an easy decision.
As someone else who has studied John Adams and his presidency (and by “studied” I mean sat through the entire HBO miniseries), I have to say I enjoyed “Shoot ‘Em Up” much more. Especially that whole “Ace of Spades” scene…awesome!

As someone who has also watched “Shoot ‘Em Up”, I just want to say, that movie may be the most retarded thing I’ve ever seen. Possibly even more retarded than the democrat leadership in congress.
