Random Thoughts: Risks of Gun Ownership

Remind me again: The unions spent countless hours and dollars trying to recall the Scott Walker. Did it work?

Because I was wondering, the term for a place like Five Guys or Chipotle that exists between fast food and casual dining is “fast casual”.

The Chris Matthews Twitter account says it’s verified, but the tweets aren’t in all caps.

After Inglorious Basterds, I’m quite excited for the next Tarantino film, also a period piece.

I kinda miss Newt Gingrich.

Saw the trailer for Wreck-It Ralph. Looks interesting, but Zangief is not a bad guy.

If you keep a gun in your home, you have an eight times greater risk of being a badass.

Wikipedia has me on their list of “living people”. I hope I stay there.

I never got “sports.” Let’s just see if we can all come to an agreement where we want the ball to be and then keep it there.

Yes, it worked – for Scott Walker who has now been elevated to the national stage.

This reminds me of a strategic management professor I had. He didn’t have time for a lack of thinking concealed by buzzwords. When a lame student would go on, “blah, blah, blah isn’t an effective strategy,” this man would get in his or her face and forcefully remind them,

Every strategy has an effect. The question is, what effect are you trying to achieve?

I suspect that the unions were seeking an effect for which they did not plan.

No, but it was a very, very close election: 53% to 46%. Not at all like the landslide victory that Obama had over McCain, where he won 53% to 46%, giving him a mandate.

At five guys, you can get a big-o-bag of really grerasy fries, but in new yuk, you can only get a 16 oz soda to go with them. liberals are smirt.

Love the Amazon ad on the sidebar, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and a book about hillary. I sense a theme.

    DamnCat is not a toy!

Hey plentyo, refills are free at our Five Guys. Are refills illegal now in the City?

How else can you enforce what container a customer uses for soda? Soda fountains must be illegal. Fascism is a complicated business.
