You forgot the rifle you use to hunt deer and turkey. If you include those we have one of almost every category and so should everyone else. Just like the only way to not get pregnant is to not have sex, the only way to protect your loved one is to own, train and learn to shoot a gun well. It’s just common sense.

Also, seanmahair, you forgot the small caliber rifle with subsonic rounds for hunting varmints. Very effective. Love those subsonic rounds.
The more the merrier! I agree about the varmint rifle and hunting rifle and would add a hunting shotgun (at a minimum) to the list.
