These Laws! They Inconvenience My Ideology!

During a speech to the NAACP, and despite the existence of “Stand Your Ground” laws, Eric Holder said “people who feel threatened have a duty to retreat”.

Eric… if criminals had a sense of duty, we wouldn’t feel threatened.

  1. We have a duty to cede our streets to the most violent & ruthless among us. It’s nothing less than a moral imperative to hand over our cities to people who value neither their lives nor yours.

  2. what happened to “these colors don’t run”?

for the about the thousandth time in the last 5 years, I’m embarrassed that my country is is represented by these buffoons.

*I* have a duty to run away from criminals?? So they now have more rights than I do? Maybe I’m just on the wrong side of the law. Criminals have the right to threaten people and force them to retreat, have access to government handouts and the entire weight of not only the justice system but the “social justice mob” and all I have is a duty to run away and pay for it all.

  3. As it applies to Zimmerman and Trayvon…Who jumped who??????

Trayvon started the fight and Zimmerman was held on the ground and could not retreat.

So if I have Holder’s statement understood properly, Zimmerman should have let Trayvon kill him.

Apparently any use of force to protect oneself from an urban thug is automatically excessive and this is before any action is taken.

    I suggest Holder go spend some time in South Side Chicago;

Alone, no weapon and no cell phone.

I think after he is mugged and lives (maybe) he will understand that you cannot give in to terrorism.

That is what street crime is. TERRORISM

  4. Sorry, Eric, but I have no “duty” to retreat, whether the menacing thug is one of “your people” or not. Your pet oxygen thieves have a duty to exercise good citizenship. If they refuse their duty, then they are target practice, as far as I am concerned. In fact, the more, the merrier, and the safer society will be.

  5. “Stupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education, or by legislation. Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can’t help being stupid. But stupidity is the only universal capital crime: the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.”
    – Robert A. Heinlein, Time Enough For Love.

  6. Criminals have no duties, no moral compass and dislike the idea that their criminal activity might get them killed.

Eric Holder is a criminal. Eric Holder makes law. For criminals. Not for Americans.

You can take it from TheHat: “The right to self-defense is never denied. F*** Holder and all race-baiters.”
