Couldn’t Make Ice Cubes in Alaska, Either

A new Detroit water park opened without water due to a break in a poorly-maintained water main.

What a disaster of a city. If it were in Nevada, I bet they’d have trouble filling a sandbox.

  1. As a proud Michigander I’d like to point out another salient fact – Michigan is known as the “Great Lake State,” and we have more coastline than any other state in the lower 48. Access to good, clean, fresh water in Michigan is ubiquitous – you can literally just drill down and it’s right there. It took decades of democratic mis-leadership to make it possible to run out of water in what was 170 years ago a swamp. Way to go Detroit!
