Isn’t it interesting, that the people most in favor of raising the corporate tax rate and the minimum wage are those who complain the loudest about how the price of everything is increasing. It is always amazing to me that they just can’t seem to make the connection that when taxes and wages go up, so do prices, as though prices exist by themselves in some kind of vacuum.
If it’s time to raise the minimum wage, then it’s time for me to raise my hourly rate… to 15 rants/hour.
Once the companies pass the higher cost of doing business onto the consumers we’re all going to need a pay raise.
