Pretty sure the coffee can one would’ve worked fine if he’d taped the end to the can, then turned the can sideways and rotated it so that it took up the light string like a garden hose reel.
When I take down my mini lights I just wad them up and throw them in a box. I figure I can either carefully untangle them when I take them out in December or I can carefully untangle them when I put them away in January and then carefully untangle them again when I take them out in December.
I implement various different crazy ideas to keep my holiday decorations from getting tangled.

He keeps referring to ‘holiday” this and ‘holiday’ that…what holiday would that be? Seems like all of them were only meant for one so why is it he can’t say it?
