Never saw the original, but now want to see the remake.
This reminds me of an episode of one of the Redletter Media videos. In it they talk about what a waste is of time and money it is to remake good movies. They say what should happen is good movie makers should remake bad movies and make them into good movies.
I thought it was a great idea and would like to see it happen.
Not saying Blade was bad, I haven’t seen it. I saw Blade 2. I was entertained.
Someone should have told that to the people that re-made The Magnificent Seven.
Which, of course, was a reboot of the Seven Samurai.
True…but a great reboot.
Taking bad movies and updating them . . .
I hear the DNC is going to remake “Triumph of the Will” at their convention.
More like somewhere between Dumb and Dumber.
I’ve often wondered about that sword/scabbard at the back, over-the-shoulder draw thing. I have a samurai sword and tried wearing mine that way but when I reach back, my fingers can barely touch the handle, let alone whipping the sword out fast. Either I have arms that are too short of Wesley Snipes has extremely long arms.
