Want to support our troops?
Heres a place for you to visit. It’s a great project that helps injured veterans gain access to computers.
Blackfive has the details. It looks like a friendly interservice competition to see who can raise the most money. I would have enrolled IMAO on the Army side – GO ARMY!! – but I know that Harvey worked in this cruise line called the Navy.
So, regardless of service affiliation, go and give money.
UPDATE: This is an appeal to all Army Dawgs. The Navy – yes, the NAVY – is kicking our butt in this fundraiser. What’s next? The sky turning red? Cats chasing dogs? Michael Moore selling an Ab exerciser? Give!!! and then give some more.
Seriously – as long as you give it doesn’t matter what branch of service you back.
Go ARMY!!

ooorah, devildogs
Yeah! Woohoo! Freakin’ A!
And don’t forget http://www.anysoldier.com/ if you have a little extra money left over. $25 will fill a package and ship it to our soldiers. It’s a good way to let ’em know we are behind them, and they appreciate the stuff. I know because they tell me so!
Not as important as helping our wounded, but still very important.
My husband the geek was very impressed with this program for our courageous vets. We live in an age that makes internet access essential. Sometimes the adjustment after coming home can be the hardest part for our military personnel; especially when you are minus limbs.I can’t even imagine the difficulty. He made a donation and plans to once a month…..Oo-rah!
GO ARMY!!
Donations are great, but make sure you tell them right off the bat that if they sell your name, they’ll never get another penny. My parents donated to the VFW, and now are deluged with stuff from every charity imaginable, asking for money.
That wouldn’t be so bad (they typically send stuff like return address labels as an incentive to give) but when they sold our name, they spelled it wrong, so we couldn’t even use the free stuff we got.
The Navy is kicking a** in the competition. Go Navy!
Thank you so much for posting about Valour-IT and helping us get out the word.
And I assure you, we will NOT be selling or giving anybody’s personal information (including email) to ANYBODY. 🙂
I’m comfortable supporting the Marines, since a) Frank’s brother is one, and b) the Marines are practically part of the Navy anyway.
Seriously, pick a branch and put IMAO behind it.
Army! Hua!
ANCHORS AWEIGH. GO NAVY. BEAT ARMY.
Go Army! Beat Air Force! Wait… already did :p Beat Navy!
Hoorah! Go NAVY! Anybody heard the Navy saying:
Army Beans,
Army Gravy,
Man I wish I joined the Navy! 🙂
I would give money, but being a PFC in the Army… well… the hippies out side the gates get more money than i do ;^).
Btw Alucard, it’s an Amry cadance :^P
Hey ladee dadee
Hey hey
GI Grits and Gi Gravy

Must be different in the Army. We just say it to make fun of you guys. You say it as a badge of honor 🙂
