And if they do raise taxes on the rich, what’s the prize we all get again?

Seriously, though, what’s the main benefit that taxing the rich is supposed to have that the left is so worked up about?

As part of the compromise, in Obama’s announcement of the tax plan he will publicly admit he’s a little girl.

President Logan from 24 now has a higher job approval rating than Obama.

We wanted someone better than Bush and instead ended with someone who takes a lot prodding to make sure he’s no worse than.

So what compromises will the GOP be able to make Obama do when they actually have a majority?

Know what would raise more tax revenue? Lowering unemployment.

If the economy improves after this, remember it’s because of Bush and his tax cuts.

How about a tax hike on the rich but only actors and athletes. Should take care of class warfare tic without harming economy much.

Obama realizes his party still has a majority, right?

It would be nice if GOP did some token compromise like raising taxes for those earning more than $3 trillion.

Know how you stop the rich from getting richer? Probably same way you alter the value of pi.

Dan Rather has typed documents proving Obama will be primaried.

I like how on FOX News, Juan Williams is the guy they bring on to defend Muslims.

Aren’t we the most attractive family ever? Answer: Yes!

  1. Here is the thing about the budget.

19% solution @ reason.com is well worth the read.

    http://reason.com/archives/2010/12/05/how-to-balance-the-budget-with/

You can think of 19% of GDP as the sweet spot for the size of government. Below that important services get neglected or underfunded. Above 19% and people/business cut back spending and start saving and also instead of investing spend their time finding ways to hide money from taxes. So all spending above 19% comes from debt and printing. This lowers the value of all dollars and the financial insecurity about US government debt raises the cost of interest on the existing national debt. (thus costing more in interest) See how its a cycle one way or the other? 19% being the equilibrium.

-Side note American yearly GDP is 14 Trillion Chinese GDP 4.9 T. Our government alone is literally the size of of Chinas entire GDP. If it could stand to be the size of Germany @ 3.4 T, which it last was in like 2008, then everything would be fine.

  2. Shiggz, the problem with your 19% figure is the premise that the federal government must supply services outside of the 18 enumerated powers.

I think we should scrap any and all services not specifically spelled out in the Constitutions that the STATES and the People of the individual states agreed to. The supreme court should pound sand, so should any federal court that has encroached on the power specifically left to the states. We would not have the federal debt if the state legislatures did their job and grew a pair.

So for a real solution. Elect conservatives to states legislatures and govenorships. Seceed from this awlful mess that the commies have created. Eliminiate the fed. Adopt the constitution as it was meant to be. leave places like commiefornistan , and new jerk york, merryland, minnesota, michigan, alaska and other commie strongholds their own to die without dignity.

Once we have shed the bad seeds, make sure that we cannot be saddled with crap like the epa, fda, dept of energy, dept of miseducation, and other federal agencies that don’t need to exist.

Then after all that, invade the communist countries of commiefornistan et al. and send them to the moon to be nuked.

  3. Of course, quantum mechanically, the value of pi is instantaneously indeterminant until observed. It could be the usual value of 3.14159…, or it could be less depending on the local curvature of space. In both Lobachevskian and Riemannian geometry, pi is predominantly less than our Euclidian, flat-space value, depending on how curved space is. With Lobachevsky, space looks like a potato chip. And with Riemann, a balloon. So, it’s not recommended you mess with pi unless you want potato chips or balloons where pi takes on a really messed-up value. Bottom line: don’t mess with pi.

  4. So what happens if a Rhinoceros eats your pi?

What happens if a mosquito bites a pig, then a mooslem?

If we lower unemployment, doesn’t that mean fewer parasites for the democrites to take care of?

  5. Aren’t we the most attractive family ever? Answer: Yes! Well, maybe, could be…

Buttercup has a “why haven’t you changed my diaper yet” look in that picture. I know, my grandson The Great Samtini has that same look.

A don’t know about that tax the rich thing the Democrats are so obsessed about. I guess it’s just they think we regular folks will feel better if we know the Dems are out there “looking out for us” by taxing the rich. Of course, that means the rich have less money to invest in creating jobs and investing in companies in this economy. I guess Democrats are just dumb and stuck on that socialism thing that doean’t work. C’mon 2012!

  6. @plenty I am with you, first I thought we should deal with the apocalypse on our doorstep. Thus buying time for the rising wave of conservative constitutionalists as an ideological revolution. In other-words the right wing version of what the left did in the 60’s. It has a good chance with some media megaphones like drudge/fox/rush etc.. (a start but we need more conservative options for those who aren’t politically active but are conservative sympathizers) The conservative wave is rising! If we can buy it more time and ally with everyone we can stomach against the socialists we may beat them. Our ancestors were few and weak and had to flee European aristocrats and their ruling class lackeys. We are much stronger and we have nowhere else to flee… now we hold our ground.

I guess a fundamental question is, how does any creature survive while being swarmed by parasites? A common way in nature is it lures them onto its body and then jumps in the water and drowns them all. God also employs this tactic. Then it covers itself in mud (country /religious music?) to keep the blood suckers away.

  7. Plentyofbailouts, those are all fundamental questions, imo. We commenters seek answers here at IMAO. I know that’s why I’m here, for sure.

What happens if Michelle Obama stops eating pi?
Is it possible to slice the pi so all get equal shares?
If we reduce the value of pi, does our belt size go up or down?
What happens if you combine potatoes and pi? Is potato pi mandatory? (Some would say “Yes!”)
What does “pi in the sky” look like?
Does the saying “As American as Apple PI” have something to do with Jobs?
Should you avoid rich pi? And why do the rich eat pi?

I’m taking the day off to compile these questions. It’s Frank’s fault.

  8. Sorry my mind is very restless today. Mind if I continue my offtopic rant? I am confident the right needs to send the Republican party the way of the Wigg party. The ideal time for that would have been between 2008-2010. The Republicans will let you down and get up to their same old tricks giving constitutional conservativism the slow death that Bush did with center left policiies which of course fail and are blamed on conservative principles.

With a populist agenda you would lose the snow/collins NE “bluebloods” but you would gain in the south-west-north-midwest. Why cant the republican party be reformed? Why didn’t Jesus reform the Jewish state and its religious institutions? Why did he setup a new church? Because old institutions become hopelessly corrupted.

Mat 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Mar 2:22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

Luk 5:37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.

Luk 5:38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

The window is closing to dismantle the R before the very important 2012 election.

  9. I seem to recall from Dr. Zhivago that the Ruskies attempted to tax the rich at 100%. It didn’t go well for them. I also remember that Julie Christie is a babe, and that she and Dr. Zhivago could have had quite a happy life together if it weren’t for those pesky commies.

Lesson: Liberals are not only opposed to economic growth, they are also opposed to true love.

  10. Burma, we must have watched different movies. Zhivago’s original family included a funny old grandfather who reminded me of my own grandfather, so it is possible that I am biased. Nonetheless, I figure that Julie Christie would have dumped Zhivago as soon as an NKVD or GPU agent walked down the pike.

  11. The liberal/prpgressives are mad at Obama and calling him names. Are they racist now?

Nice picture of Buttercup with the hot T-shirt babe and the hippie puncher.

Unemployment is the reward for taxing the rich. Part of the Pelosi stimulus plan.

  12. Awesome pictures of Buttercup and the family!

But, I hate to break to you, she is bald. Hiding her under huge bows the size of her head isn’t fooling anyone. Even Trump scoffs at the idea. Maybe you or Sarah are getting artsy and try to symbolize what nuking the moon would look like on her head, but whatever the case, the pictures will torment her for the rest of her life.
