I just got a new DVD from Netflix, and the envelope it’s in is green, man! Green! They’re supposed to be red! What’s happening, man! I don’t like it! I’m freak’n out!

I’m with you, Frank; it freaked me out.
I’ve got 66 movies in my queue. One is Anchorman, which is seperate from the rest since it hasn’t come out yet. Of the rest, four are the first volume of Batman: the Animated Series, 14 are Monty Python’s Flying Circus, and 26 are Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin, plus other various assorted DVDs.
The green is to celebrate the release of Firefox 1.0!!!

Oh, well… Everyone go get it now anyway. It really is a phenomenal browser. Waaaay better than IE or any of its variants.

Green is cool. I thought of ogres when I heard green. At least if you are playing woods ball you can sort of hide in a green envelope. Whereas if you tried to camo yourself in a red envelope you would stick out like a sore thumb on the paintball field. Just my two cents.
Snort, too funny, I had the EXACT same thought yesterday. As for my list … I only have about 6 movie there. I like to be a little more dynamic … never know what I might want to watch in a few weeks.

Rouroni Kenshin? Hey, now there was a guy who didn’t take any shit. My hope is for the US to announce crack squads of Battosai to patrol the streets of Fajullah.
I always figured that the envelopes were red because that way they were much more noticeable and stood out from the junk mail. I then began to see horrible, mutant junk mail that was Netflix red! RAR! So then, I recieved my Netflix envelope and was thinking, “They did this to make them stand out even more,” because, well, they do. Anyway, we’ll see after Shrek 2/Christmas are over and done with.
