I guess it’s on the next tougher grade kennel for Rowdi.
All she wanted to do was greet SarahK at the door!
Too bad she wasn’t out long enough to freak out the cats.

I’ve never liked the whole crate thing… i know lotsa people swear by it, but both of our dogs we’ve had since they were pups hated it and we gave up on it eventually.
And… FIRST!!!
She’d go in there and lay down all the time; I think she just got too excited when she heard Sarah get back and broke out.
She never seemed to like being locked in it, though, but she always settled down and slept.
We need it until she gets used to the cats (well, more vice versa) though.
Boxcutters > Twin Towers
Terrorists blah blah…..America blah…soldiers dead boo hoo….China can nuke us waahhh what to do waaahh….Health care crap…..only vietnam war vets cant afford doctors bills, and we hate war and guns and soldiers…..duh….commie evil….tofu kills….mad tofu disease……eat freedom fries, american vanilla ice cream, brave toast.
What you do is just let the cats keep running away from Rowdy until they get used to her or she gets bored of chasing them.
Frank,
If she’s comfortable with the crate like that, leave it, just don’t lock her in. I don’t think any dogs like it… I did it to my beagle once with one of those fabric ones with the mesh-y door and he managed to rip a big hole in the door and get out.
The cats are just gonna have to warm up to her and I don’t think that keeping them seperated is going to speed that along any. It’s probably hindering the process.
Frank, for God’s sake, fix the poor dog’s name! Here, I’ll GIVE you a “Y.”
