I sometimes check out that Intrade.com site. I find it interesting, though I’m not sure what its record on predictions is. Right now, it’s pretty lopsided in predicting Obama will win. I saw they had a blog article by a Max Keiser titled “Are political investors mispricing risk?” I thought it might have some interesting insight, so I checked it out.
It was one of the dumbest things I’ve read this political season. And that’s some pretty heavy competition.
It was standard conspiracy stuff about Republicans stealing the election while dismissing any concerns of Democrat voter fraud. Why? Because it would be silly for Obama to feel the need for fraud. Look all these newspapers that endorsed him!
Seriously, I think we’re not discriminating enough on who we let write stuff on the internet. I mean, this site is pretty dumb, but come on.
Last night I was listening to Mike Reagan, and a caller (or maybe a guest, I’m not sure) used the phrase “information epidemic” to describe the crap that gets put on the Internet.
Not including this blog, of course.
See? That’s why I only the Internet for the reasons it was meant, pr0n and launching missiles. Which are pretty much the same thing, freudally speaking.
Frank – Don’t sell yourself short. Your site is the dumbest! Those other sites can’t even compete.
