As Basil pointed out earlier, Bill Gates unleashed mosquitoes on a crowd. The guy must really have a god complex if he’s now inflicting plagues.
Of course, I wouldn’t bow down and worship any deity responsible for Windows Vista.

Of course, I wouldn’t bow down and worship any deity responsible for Windows Vista.
Failure to worship at the alter of Microsoft will result in more punishment. Usually in the form of yet another version of Windows.
I don’t have any problems with Vista, but 7 is actually a lot nicer. I’ll buy it.
A little off topic, but speaking of unleashing a plague infested storm: you gotta hear this.

Barry comes out of the closet…
Any vague references I may have made to future plagues, can just as easily be interpreted to mean software bugs. FTFY, naturally, – in advance.
Liberalism is obviously a mental disorder. The guy has to be reasonalby intelligent to have accomplished what he has, but to think that this act is somehow impress his audience takes a unique form of self centeredness. This is the retarded stuff you expect from the Hollywood crowd or perhaps that is the explanation. He has fallen victim to the disease of celebrity.
You could bow down to the god Stercules in thanks for Vista.
I think Bill is kind of on target with the skeeters. As I understand it a mere drop of DDT smeared with a cloth on the walls of an abode will repel the skeeters for monthes. Yet our sophisticated ruling class liberals can’t see their way clear to let ANY DDT be used in any place in spite of the fact there are reasons to believe the whole DDT thing was overblown. Sure they went wild with it fogging entire towns. But I’m talking a drop on a rag here. For want of this few drops here and there millions die every year. But then the ruling class libs are too busy saving the wolf from Sarah Palin. Well I say wolf steaks for our next barbeque.
Bill Gates has been loosing bugs on people for decades. He ran Microsoft.
Bill Dufus Gates introducing “bugs” at a conference is…um…this is too easy. In my best monotone…MicroSoft is the best software ever developed…it is better than any software that has ever been developed by any other company ever or any software that has ever been ever thought about ever because Bill Gates is a really really smart guy and is much much smarter than any other software company!
Now…my real feelings…Microsoft SUCKS! For Bill Gates to release bugs in a group of people is PERFECT! That’s what every release of his software does every year!!!!!
I think he caught one of windows visus’s.
ANOTHER plague??? Hasn’t he done enough with Windows Vista?
Guy opens a jar, says there’s mosquitos. Everyone believes there are really mosquitos, despite no one actually being stung by a mosquito. Yep, folks still buy into everything he says.
Yeah, I guess I like XP better, but Vista is kinda cool like how in Explorer, ya can have several websites open at a time in only one winder, just by clicking that little New Tab thingy at the top.
‘mkay, I feel a little dirty after admitting that, but ‘sokay.
Quit picking on Bill G. like a bunch of liberal fagwads. What he did can not be diminished. Usually its the libs who hit him. A typical profile is a friend of mine who for the past 8 years referred to Bush as “Liar George”. Very typical to find BDS ( bush derangement syndrome ) and Gates derangement sydromes in the same gay mac users.
Fact is what he did at Microsoft was nothing short of phenomenal. And true because of open source linux MS’s best days may be behind them….but that does not alter history.
I really think Gates did the right think with his used pickle jar. These libs are fanatical anti DDT ‘ers. DDT is what these 3rd worlders need in small spray cans. But since the libs can’t let anyone impinge their eco-fantasies in the least…up to and including making people die for the wet dream the 3rd world can’t have the DDT it needs.
#12 – Except that you have been able to do that with Internet Explorer in XP for quite some time. (Longer if you’ve been using Firefox or Mozilla)
#6 and #13 Freemon Sandlewould
You’re spot on, no pun intended.
I have heard that since the banning of DDT more people have died of malaria, and other mosquito borne diseases, than died at the hands of Hitler or Mao or Stalin. Ponder that a moment.
If the libtards really cared, they would be for the use of DDT in third world crap holes. Yes the people need clean drinking water, vaccinations and sanitary waste disposal, but vermin eradication is another part of the overall picture. (No Mugabe jokes please…)
“gay mac users” Wow! I’m hurt by that comment! My iMAC is fabulous! And my iPHONE is to die for! Keep drinking the kool aid! As an IT Consultant I can tell you that there are a couple things that we don’t ever recommend Windows for. 1) Any system that requires security…period! 2) Any system that is mission critical like an on-line ATM or credit card implementation. 3) Any system that must play nice with other systems and you don’t want to pay gazillions of dollars for custom code. 4) Any system that shouldn’t get regularly spoofed, spammed, fished or hacked. 5) Any system that must reliably run a computer! 6) Any system that will involve tech support and might cause one to have to call MicroSoft Tech Support. Never EVER a good idea! 7) Any system that must not be “bleeding edge” and is rolled out to 50,000 users and cannot be “patched” every three or four days.
Yeah but how do you really feel? 😉

Does every Demoncrat rich, rapacious insider have a “god” complex. O’vomit, Blago, Gates, Steisand, Baldwin…….the list goes on and on. Do they think because they don’t believe in a god they have to step in a fill the vacuum? Or is it just because they suck?
Mr Gates please give Woody Allen back his glasses and clothes, he wasn’t funny and neither are you. Go back to looking out the window of you energy hogging, environmental disgrace of a mansion and leave the rest of us alone.
Gee, the last time I had to deal with a swarm of useless bloodsuckers from Microsoft I was calling for technical support. I guess since nearly every Microsoft “innovation” was stolen from someone else (including DOS itself), I guess reproducing by sucking the lifeblood from a host comes naturally to Bill.
Oh no, seanmahair. He’s a philan… a philna… a good deed-doer.
No he’s a bloated, capitalist pig, hypocrite but then no one is perfect.
I love Demons who make plenty of money off the public and then turn around and pretend to be good eh deed eh ………..philanthropists.
I know how my gravatar in #20 got to look like that… but I ain’t sayin’. Just sayin’.
My image of Bill Gates (having watched him since the early 80’s) is that of a nervous kid who walks around with his hands clasped together close to his chest and then points at stuff he sees as says,
“That’s mine.”
“We invented that.”
“That’s ours.”
“Mine.”
“I want that.”
“That’s mine.”
My image is a “My precious” Golem like creature. But then I am a gay Mac owner (but don’t tell the sweet spouse or the 6 children, 4+grandchildren or friends and family, I’ve got them all fooled)
I doubt Gates is a liberal / democrat. Its very apparent he is truly intelligent. Thus I can only assume / conclude that if he spouts any liberal doctrine he is merely towing the party line to avoid the attendant issues with getting things done. In addition why the heck do you think he has been demonized thus? Clearly if he was liberal the left would have given him the golden Obama aura of perfectitude.
BTW: Spending your own money on bleeding heart causes is eminently conservative. The key is WHO decides how his money gets spent. If it is Gates…its self determinism and is conservative. If the state decides…that is liberalism through and through.
And a final note on Macs: They are great for artists and film editors. Hard core manly men like engineers use pc compatible because that is where the horsepower has be put to yield the tools. So yah I stick with the girly men comment since what would you call artists and film editors???? duh. If they are not gay they are at least curious georges.

Yes, the Mac is great for those. I am neither. And I love my Mac.
I run OS X and Windows XP on it. It runs Windows XP quite well. Oh, yes, Linux, too.
Why in the world would a Mac user run Windows XP? Well, there are some things I use that need Windows. And, working with Web development, I ensure that anything I do works with Internet Explorer, as well as Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc. And IE hasn’t worked with Macs since IE 5.
So, I have a quality computer that runs the most popular software on multiple operating systems.
I love my Mac.
“The poor have been rebels, but they have never been anarchists: they have more interest than anyone else in there being some decent government. The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn’t; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all.”
– G.K. Chesterton, The Man Who was Thursday, 1908.
# 24 Did you really say “I don’t think Gates is a liberal/democrat”? Really, you came to this blog and actually typed that in and then hit submit? Gates is as liberal, left wing, wacko as they get. He apologizes continually for making money and turns around and steals ideas from others. He then takes them to court to prove he didn’t do anything wrong, builds himself an energy whale of a house, resigns from his job and begins fund raising for causes that no ones ever heard about.
He lets loose a herd of mosquitos in a room full of peoples who’s only crime was to come to hear him talk. (turning on his own) He believes that everyone owes him a living and at one time played around with the idea of having everyone lease their operating systems from him, monthly (none of this buying it out right, where’s the profit in that) and has done his level best to attain a stranglehold and monopoly on software. Sounds like socialism to me, after all he’s so smart he knows better than us what’s good for us. Just ask him, he’ll be happy to tell you……………
Looks like a liberal, talks like a liberal, acts like a liberal, I really think he’s a liberal, hon. Just saying.
Seanmahair – never actually heard him voice an opinion on anything. But you are not addressing the fact that he is demonized largely by the left. And you know they are such power worshipping people its hard to believe they feel he is one of their kind. To quote the global warmers: “Please cite a peer reviewed paper that supports your point” regarding Bill’s liberalocity. woo hoo…another new word! I have a million of em. All of em good.

You really need to download firefox. Awesome bar is awesome. =)
Basil, Have you tried VirtualBox on linux? It runs windows as good as VMware does and is free. It would save room on your mac and reboot times. You could always get parallels on your mac but I think that runs about 80 bucks.
And on topic:
Gates is a thief.
i don’t sense enough GUILT here on this blog about the fact that malaria exists in our world. it’s obviously the fault of everyone in the room at the time mr bill set those blood suckers free. it’s everyone’s fault.
but if vista had been the 1st software let loose on the world we would all still be using pencils.
