I got e-mail update from the DNC about their contest for a billboard slogan to really stick it to Rush Limbaugh. Here are the top entries:
* “Americans didn’t vote for a Rush to failure”
* “Hope and change cannot be Rush’d”
* “Failure is not an option for America’s future”
* “We can fix America, just don’t Rush it”
* “Rush: Say yes to America”
Wow. Harsh. If Rush sees any of those on a billboard, he’ll cry himself to sleep.
Really, how many monkeys at how many typewriters did it take for them to come up with those? The Democrats are trying to make Rush the number one enemy to distract from their screw ups, and they can’t even take him seriously.
So how many entries about Rush being an addict do you think they rejected?

I’m sure they received many submissions from professional jornalists. And this is the best they could come up with?
It looks they’ve gotten most of their entries from the LOLcats.
If the billboard: “Rush, say “Yes” to America” wins the contest, someone has got to buy the next billboard down the road that says “Sure! Which of the Two? – Love, Rush”
Q: How pathetic is it that more than half of them are the exact same lazy pun?

Wonder how many they got praising Rush. Probably a lot more than the ones hating him. Wonder if they’re going to complain about that or keep it hush hush so people don’t know how badly they got owned.
Ultra super lame. One should have read:
Don’t stop our RUSH to make America a socialist country.
Would have been more accurate.
Those five were probably the only ones submitted criticizing Rush that were actually legible. The rest of the submissions were either praising him or consisted of phrases like “OMGG!!!111 Rush iz so teh lamez.. HAXX!!”
After Rush buys the billboard it should read ” Hope and Change are not responsible government policies”

I wrote the DNC and told them that the slogans were not cleverly insulting enough to catch Rush’s attention. Seriously, that’s all that they could come up with??? To my immense delight none of their attacks via billboard are gutsy enough, proves what kind of backbone they really have.
Ya know… I’ve never even heard Rush’s show since I don’t get radio way out here in the middle of nowhere. Yet I know who he is and that I agree with him because of Liberals whining about him for years. There really is no such thing as Bad Press.

They’re going up against Rush Limbaugh…and that’s what come up with? This is the equivalent of committing a crime, getting a kick out of seeing your Wanted! poster, and then finding out that the bounty on you is $1.75.
They’re the President of the United States and a major political party against a talk show host, but somehow I think they’re outgunned–at least until the fairness doctrine kicks in.
I thought Liberals LIKED addicts? Oh right, only Liberal addicts have a “disease” and require compassion; Conservative addicts have a moral failing. Could Liberals BE anymore hypocritical? Besides his addiction being pretty much a non-issue since it doesn’t affect his work or his marriage; wasn’t it “just” painkillers?–I’m not totally up on the issue because it’s no one’s biz but his.
If he is still on them, he’s not only more Eloquent and more Lucid than any Liberal crybaby I’ve seen, but more Correct than any Liberal could ever dream of.

But Rush will get the last laugh on the billboard; he always does, which drives them even more batshite crazy than they already are, if that’s possible. That’s why they hate Rush, and Palin, and Cheney, and Dubya — because they are EFFECTIVE in spite of, and WITHOUT, Liberal “help.” I love it.
