From 1954, a two-parter called “It’s Everybody’s Business”. The first half does a nice job of showing how constitutional principles are the basis of a free market:
The second half explains how free markets are supposed to work in a free society:
Two things I especially liked in part 2 are the fist-and-dagger representation of what America’s “hero” FDR actually did to this country during WWII (segment starts at 4:57), and an almost Nostrodamical prediction of Obama’s rise to power (segment starts at 7:47).
Thanks, Harvey. I enjoy this series you’re doing. It also reminds me how much we all have in common here at the IMAO barn: our belief in individual liberty.
My heart warms when watching these explanations about America’s free enterprise. But it isn’t free much longer – O’Bummer’s freeze is already deep in operation.
Can’t watch quite yet. Will in a few minutes but I agree. I love these. Also Teddy Roosevelt wasn’t much better than his cousin.
Concur.
Many thanks to Frank, Harvey, monkey, and Basil for keeping this bastion of humor and sanity up and running.
No kidding, Marko.
Bravo Harvey! I read 3 chapters of Atlas Shrugged while it loaded, but it was worth it!;)
Capitalist Propaganda is GOOD!!!
Great stuff! Narration by MacDonald Carey of Days Of Our Lives fame. “Like sands through the hourglass…”
Part 2; 9:30 mins/secs. Perfectly describes the recent Tea Parties so demonized by Democrats……..Funny how an almost Disney like movie can put everything in perspective. Now, if we can only get this to be shown in schools….
Actually, all of my business classes (I spent a lot of time there getting a BBA) we taught by conservatives; even back to middle school. The protesters outside the Business College were another thing entirely. (As an aside, when I was required to wear my uniform for ROTC they never said anything to me. Or when I wore my “Barrett .50 Light Sniper Rifle” t-shirt)

How sophisticated is the software that runs these Google ads? I’ve been seeing ads for the movie ‘Valkyrie’ popping up whenever Fearless Reader is mentioned!
