I’m happy to get good ideas from across the political spectrum, from Democrats and Republicans. What I won’t do is return to the failed theories of the last eight years that got us into this fix in the first place, because those theories have been tested, and they have failed.
BARACK OBAMA, press conference, Feb. 9, 2009
“Now, failed theories from 19th-century German economic philosophers, on the other hand…”
I’m so glad there’s no danger of going back to the failed theories from the dark days of 4.7% unemployment and consistent GDP growth. Now we have Obama to protect us from the nightmare of prosperity.

Obama does have a point. We still need protection from Jeb Bush. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m not going back to the Bush style fake conservatism.
i have no desire to have another bush, clinton, kennedy or roosevelt (though perhaps enough time as has passed on tr and fdr).
that said, jeb bush over hillary if those are the choices. it’s a no brainer.
Then why do we still have Dodd-Frank.
A prime example of failed policies.
