Friend of IMAO, Michael Z. Williamson, has a new book out now — Tour of Duty: Stories and Provocations — containing several stories from his Freehold universe, stories written for the Valdemar universe, stories inspired by his last deployment, some humorous essays on firearms, and some political commentary — so lots of stuff in one nice book.

Also, his novel Freehold — the first novel of his Freehold universe — is going to be out for the first time in hardcover, and it will be signed and limited edition. I prefer Kindle books for reading, but you can’t sign those — I guess except with some sort of RSA private key. But that’s not the same thing.
