Complicated Mechanisms Explained in simple animations

BONUS LINK:

My niece Sarah sent me this video of the CDC director’s “evolving” language on Ebola. Simultaneously funny and tragic.

Normally I’d embed it, but it’s got autoplay, and I can’t get it to shut off, so you just get a link.

  1. If you use Firefox or, like me, the Pale Moon browser (switched after the Eich affair), then you should try the “Flashblock” add-on. Absolutely kills all autoplaying media and gives you the option to “whitelist” sites that you don’t mind having autoplay (like youtube) activated. When you load a page and Flashblock kills any autoplaying media, you need only click on it to start it. It’s made a world of difference for me, especially on Breitbart, TV station websites, and some other sites that go nuts with the autoplay.

Speaking of that, an add-on called “YesScript” will absolute stop those Drudge auto-refreshes.

    You’re welcome.
