Random Thoughts: The Left, Aquaman, and Ebola

Bigotry grows in whoever doesn’t get his views challenged, and the left want nothing more than to keep people from challenging their views.

The left have lost the ability to work within a liberal society. They no longer debate ideas and instead just try to shut up other side.

If you need a screenwriter for the Aquaman movie, I’m good at writing fish dialogue.

Can’t we infect ISIS with Ebola and take care of two birds with one stone?

So basically when we need the government to be effective it’s still only as good as when we’re not paying attention to it.

With all the panic over a few cases of Ebola in the U.S., can you imagine what it’s like in Africa where thousands are dead?

Operation Ugh, I Don’t Wanna Be Here

If you vote for Charlie Crist, you lose the right to ever criticize politicians for being phonies forever.

I’m excited for the DC Comics movies about Batman, Superman, and… um… the others.

I want a dark, gritty Aquaman movie. That will be hilarious.

BREAKING: Cory Gardner was not particularly memorable as a high school football player. Must credit Deadspin.

“Get one of the interns to google whether Ebola is infectious.” -CDC

So we assumed that when a crisis is going on, the government suddenly starts doing better than government-quality work?

Half the country could die from Ebola, and all that would happen is someone in the CDC will be forced to take 2 weeks paid leave.

  1. CDC: Ummmmm, we built this place to keep us safe from ebola type stuff, that’s why the door locks on the inside.

Religion meets science! when we are taught to love our 100.3 degree or lower neighbor.

  2. My idea for a dark, gritty Aquaman movie. A pod of Killer Whales attempt to warn the UN that Global Warming is an Atlanteean plot to raise the oceans and expand their territory. However Aquaman uses his fish telepathy to silence them. Oh and a lot of michael bay style explosions and a non-sensical side plot invovling mermaids at war with sea horses.

  3. Ok, I got this. Auqaman falls in love with one of the female whales of the pod (at first I was going to say male whale but let’s face it for all its talk Hollywood is not that progressive yet and ready to take that kind of risk) and he turns his back on his people and stops global warming at the end because her whale love changes him from the bad boy that he is to the good guy that he truly is deep inside. We can pitch this as an Nicholas Sparks meets Zach Synder meets Roland Emmerich type of movie.

After which he or she will file a grievance and be given a seven-figure settlement by a government eager to forward the narrative that the crisis was handled perfectly, by everyone, at every level, but their very best efforts were doomed to failure, given the severe budget constraints forced on the CDC by BOOSH!!

From my SCUBA diving experience, I can tell you that a dark, gritty Aquaman movie could be made off the shores of Rhode Island. You get the tax breaks and you can’t see more than two feet in front of you under water.
