The Jackson Five, later The Jacksons, were okay. I enjoyed some of their stuff. And, some of the stuff by the Rolling Stones was okay. But, I never bought a bunch of their albums. In fact, I can’t remember any of either band that I bought albums. So, okay, but not enough to shell out money. Even putting Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson together couldn’t make me come up off my wallet.

I never had anything by either of them, or the Beatles for that matter. Favorite Jackson story? After Michael died, my 14 year old son saw a cover of people featuring a Michael from his J5 days. He asked who’s that. I told him and he replied “no! that kid’s black!”
