We have become complacent. Complacent and complicit.

Get your friends, your loved ones, and your neighbors together, and some of your family, and have some ribs, barbeque, steak, pork chops, beans, and chicken — well, maybe not chicken if you’re having all those other things.

I’ve kind of lost track.

Is MLB still going strong? Have any of their players disrespected the flag lately?

What about the NFL? Is that still a thing? Have any of their players disrespected the National Anthem within the last half hour? I know the NBA is owned by China, so it doesn’t count.

Soccer?

Are the Olympics starting soon? Or are they already over? Have any swimmers or volleyball players physically attacked the flag on an international stage?

I wish to know, so I can care. They’re very brave.
