Despite a massive collapse in share prices the last time Disney released its inner gay, the studio is at it again, this time with a miniseries that its stars describe as a “gay explosion.”
Technically, the new series, Agatha All Along , isn’t for very young children. It’s part of the Marvel “universe,” which is meant for a teen and adult demographic.
Mostly, though, I just wish I’d never heard the term “gay explosion.”

The layoffs represent the latest round of cutting at Disney, which has been trying to right its financial ship amid continued cord-cutting as well as pessimistic consumer sentiment tied to record inflation under the Biden-Harris administration.
Last year, Disney eliminated a whopping 7000 jobs worldwide, with CEO Bob Iger promising an additional $2 billion in additional cost savings.

158 Democrats Voted Against Deporting ‘Non-Citizens’ Who Commit Violence Against Women

One-hundred fifty-eight House Democrats voted Wednesday against a resolution put forward by South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace that would designate noncitizens convicted of sex offenses or domestic violence inadmissible to and deportable from the U.S.
Two-hundred fifteen Republicans voted in favor of the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, with no one in the party opposing it. Meanwhile, only 51 Democrats voted in favor of the resolution, with 158 voting against it. Mace, who introduced the resolution, told the Daily Caller that “158 Left-wing members of Congress just voted against deporting rapists, pedophiles and murderers of women and kids.”
Biden calls Kamala Harris ‘boss’ and JD Vance ‘secretary’ in meandering remarks at gun control event
NY Post | 9/26/24 | Steven NelsonWASHINGTON — President Biden referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as his “boss” Thursday and used the wrong job title — “secretary” — for Ohio Sen. and Trump’s running mate JD Vance at an event where he signed executive orders creating new gun control task forces.
The retiring 81-year-old president delivered meandering remarks to a roomful of guests at the White House, saying that “I’ve been to all but three mass shootings in the United States of America” before deploying an attack against the Republican vice presidential candidate that’s been debunked by fact checkers.
Biden tore into Vance, 40, for allegedly shrugging off mass shootings as a fact of life in America — even though the full context of the Republican’s remarks make clear he was saying the opposite.
“I’m going to be very blunt, Secretary Vance of Ohio has called these shootings facts of life. Who the hell do these people think they are?” the president fumed.

He wrote The Twist, as you likely know, but Chubby turned it into a mega hit and made lots of money.
Little side note on that Chubby vs. Hank story. McDonald’s used the Hank Ballard version of the song in a commercial. Chubby sued.
McDonald’s defense was: We paid the guy who wrote it and released it first.
Chubby countered with: ‘yeah, but I made it famous.’
Chubby lost!! LOL. Deservedly so.
