Seventy-three parties were on the ballot for an election in Italy in 1968. One was Friends of the Moon, which sported exactly one candidate.

The Italians have a decent sense of disrespect for the whole concept of gov’t.
They elected Beppe Grillo, he of the Vafanculo protests, whose whole platform consisted of refusing to work with other parties. Naturally, a guy who refused to “work together” was branded a fascist by their fine media betters.
They also had the Pitchfork Movement.
The last actual fascist who ruled their country ended up on a lamppost.
We could learn a lot from Italians.
Plus, they make sopresata, prosciutto, great cheeses, fine vino and and awesome liqueurs.

I heard one of them was called the Fredo Party.
Friends of the moon don’t let moon friends nuke the moon.
And THAT’S why we don’t vote for “Friends of the Moon”!!
