The Dark Forces Align

In case you haven’t seen this rumor yet…
I stick by a prediction I believe I said before that, if John Kerry has Hillary as his running mate and is elected president, he will have the distinction of the shortest term in office, mysteriously dying minutes after his inauguration.
Only question is will Hillary be cleaner about this one than she was with Vince Foster. And she better be careful, too; Kerry did serve in Vietnam, you may know.
UPDATE: Murder is wrong.
UPDATE 2: The comment about shooting Hillary was from a 13 year old who still needs some learning and was removed on request.

  1. Scene. 2005 swearing-in ceremony.
    Judge: I do solemnly swear.
    Kerry: I do solemnly swear
    Judge: To defend the constitution.
    Kerry: To defend the constitution
Judge: against all enemies foreign and domestic
    KErry: Even France?
    Judge: Yes
Kerry. against all enemies Foreign and domestic.
    Judge: So help me God.
Kerry: Do we still have to say the G word?
Judge: Yes, there was no ruling from the supreme court.
Kerry. Sigh. Okay. So help me God.
    crowd does polite golf clap.
John Kerry takes a drink of water. Holds his arms up in celebration. Suddenly, his hands go to his throat and starts gaggin.
He whispers “I served in Vietnam”. And dies.
Hillary Steps up to the podium.
    “Me, me. me”

  2. Now, I understand the whole thing about how women want there to be a woman President or VP and everything…but why the crap does the first woman President have to be Hillary? Why not Ann Coulter?
Or how about Ashanti? I’d vote for her, too. I don’t even care if she knows anything about politics. She can sing and she’s pretty. If you’re going to vote for a woman, might as well go with those qualities. Wait, I sound like a chauvinist, don’t I? Oh, well. Too late now.

  3. Someone calls for the assassination of a former first lady and sitting senator and only one person takes any time to responsibly worry about the wrath of the Secret Service, not to mention the immorality of murder. And to think on another thread someone was calling for ME to be banned! Nice bunch of people here.

  4. Jim E.
We don’t consider it assassination. To quote Ann Coulter, We consider it “having a procedure performed with a rifle”.
Besides, this is just “cloud talk”. I mean it’s not like we’re advocating birthing part of a baby, killing it and sucking out it’s brain.
BTW, were you outraged when MoveOn took out an ad saying we should put Cheny to the wall and pull the trigger? or was it Rumsfeld? I forget.

  5. Jim E, I hope The Secret Service boys have better things to do than sit and read imao.us/, and track down the people who make statements like that. Know what? Maybe they should read stuff here. I mean for insight, not to incite.

  6. Another shockingly ignorant post from you. You’re are just jealous that Kerry served in Vietnam while your guy (i.e. Bush) didn’t even serve a DAY ion HIS war (Iraq.) who’s the hippocrite now?
As for Hilary at least she knew the iraq war was WRONG (unlike some people I know).

  7. Dear Iraqwarwrong,
How can you say that Hillary’s view is valid, if she never served in Vietnam either. At least not on OUR side.
I admire John Kerry’s service. I had not heard he had served in vietnam.
You know, I’m glad he’s not one of those people who served for 90 days, inflicted wounds on himself, aggravated all who worked under and over him, and wrote himself up for award after award. That would be awful, and a horrible person to work with. OUr military loves John Kerry.
In fact, when he visited the troops recently, NOT ONE soldier showed up for his event. That is a VRWC. More than likely they were busy at Abu Grahib snapping pictures. If they had known, I’m sure they would have had a parade and thrown their medals at him (confetti being a valuable resource in Iraq).
In fact, the whole idea that Hillary is thinks this war is wrong, shows that her moral compass points due Communist. Why would we try to do something about people who want to kill Americans?
Right and Wrong. A liberal talking about morality is like Michael Moore talking about exercise programs.
BTW, George Bush has served in his war (IRAQ). He is the Commander In Chief.

  8. You know what I mean (chickenhawk). As for the rest fo your post (Which I admit I had a hard time reading all of it all), the problem is You just can’t admit that the Iraq was war WRONG. it’s an endemic to righties like you and others on this blog and elsewher.e SAd, really!

  9. Idiot.
The only thing wrong in the continuation of hostilities with Iraq (Gulf War II) is that the current administation gives consideration to people like you. Wouldn’t want to upset those peaceniks. The tactics are the current problem. We have not used enough indescriminate violence. We have tried to pick out bad guys in the crowd of cheering Iraqies on a burned out humvee. Now we are allowing POW’s access to our judicial system. It should be clear to all: we should not capture enemy combatants or civilians that stand with them. Sorry.

  10. the administation DOESN”T give consideration to poeple like me. That”s the problem1! If they did we never would have tdone that (wrong.) war (Iraq War/Gulf War 2/whateer you want to call it), from teh get-go!
The rest of your post though elluminating is irreverant to the (wrong( Iraq war being wrong.

  11. Did Hillary serve in Vietnam?
“We’ll raise the taxes, and – oh! Did you know my boss served in Vietnam?”
This would fit nicely into an In My World :-p
(Which I admit I had a hard time reading all of it all)
Have you tried Babelfish? I think they have a pretty powerful EnglishMoronese translator.

  12. UPDATE: Murder is wrong.
    The hell you say!
The rest of your post though elluminating is irreverant to the (wrong( Iraq war being wrong.
Let’s put that translator to test. I’ve done
    Moronese->English->Arab->French->Moronese->Klingon->English, and here’s the result:
“Camels say 2+2=5. Camels wrong can’t. Hitherto, camels do.”
I admit it’s only a vague improvement, but I bet they’re working on it. Material should be plentiful.

  13. Saying that camels can’t add isn’t racist; it’s a fact. Now if Francesco Poli was trying to imply that you are incapable of writing a coherent sentence, that is also a fact.
No racism here. Only racist cry racism because they are the only ones who think about it all the time.
    Racist!!!

  14. We shall see. I would be really surprised if she were on the ticket. This will be the only way that the Clinton’s allow Kerry to win. If she’s not on the ticket (and I don’t think she will be), I don’t think the Clinton’s will allow Kerry to win. They will do something, somehow to keep him out so she can run in ’08. I have a post about it here.

  15. Camels represent something?? I was thinking alternate mode of transportation, particularly in the dessert. But then I never liked all that “literary symbolism” crap in high school. If it’s supposed to be something else then just cut the crap and call it whatever it’s supposed to be. quit wasting my time.
oh, and JusTalkin, I saw Dick Morris talking about this somewheres lately.

  16. “We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.”
    -George Orwell
We didn’t start it, but we will end it.
Frank, I quoted you today over at Misha’s place.
“Every time Hillary lies, her thighs get fatter.”
One of THE funniest lines I’ve ever read on the internet.
    N. O’Brain
    Imperial Minister for Useless Information

  17. The Iraq War is wrong?
    Which part?
The part where we captured a dictator that had started two wars, attempted to assassinate our own president, and used chemical weapons on his own people?
Or the part where we crushed a regime that starved and tortured their subject peoples while lining their pockets with Euros in the corrupt Oil-For-Food Program?
Was it wrong to want to kill forces that fired upon United States troops on a daily basis for ten years as they enforced the no-fly zones?
Was it wrong to hold Saddam to the UN resolutions he agreed to as terms of ending the First Gulf War, or the dozens of UN resolutions he violated since then, including 1441, which was unanimously passed?
Was wrong to say he supported terrorism, when Abu Nidal lived under his protection, the 1993 WTC bomb-maker both left and returned to Baghdad surrounding that event (still living there up until the start of the war), and the fact he regularly gave $25,000 bounties to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers?
Or maybe I wrong to think these are all damn good reasons for taking this regime out?

  18. Bob Owens,
All part. The “war” part is the part that was Wrong. Some other stuff you say is true (Saddam bad man etc bla bla bla) this does not make Iraq war not right. It keeps it wrong.
So, yes, you are Wrong. thta the war was not wrong.l If the war was wrong and you say right you must be wrong, it logically follows. Elementary.
    Thanks for the inquiry,

  19. Entrepenur,
Iraq was never attacked us. Iraq was a SECULAR (dictatorship) (B’aathist) so they would NEVER collaborate with Al Qaeda (the people what attacked us). ever.
It’s a little known fact that The people of Al Qaeda are very, highly religious. It was is RELIGIOUS people who is trying to attack us. This (RELIGIUOS not SECULAR) precludes Iraq cooperation thus Iraq attacked against us. Very sharp distinction there that is easy to miss if you just don’t know about it like I do.
Also, Saddam KNOWS (knew) that if we got ANY wind of him attacking us or EVEN trying then we’d flatten his country to glass. Thus, it’s a non worry and rediculous to even bring up the possibility. Think about it, if someone gets data (like on radar screen) “attack coming from Saddam”, attack coming from Saddam is LEAST likely explanation, because if Saddam were ever to REALLY launch attack which would show up on our radar screen (radar just an example here), he KNOWS we’d blow him to smithereens.
Taht’s why basically all other explanations are more likely. This was called “containment” and “deterrance”. We had Saddam totally contained (boxed in, metaphorically) and detterred so worrying about him was a DESTRACTION.
I don’t knwo why this logic is lost on so many right whingers.

  20. Iraqwarwrong,
I’ve been trying to follow you, but I’ve given up. Your arguing about what a MADMAN was thinking. When the facts are he did collaborate with Terrorists. There was a Terrorist Training camp a few miles north of Baghdad. But that’s the problem with you lefties, always fighting against the US instead of with it.
    oh and RightWingDuck, your line:
” A liberal talking about morality is like Michael Moore talking about exercise programs.”
is a great analogy, I’m stealing it for an Away Message.

  21. I do not believe Hillary would bump off Kerry if she was his VP. Instead, we would see eight years of a lobotomized/drugged Kerry. (I watch too much Star Trek)
Then afterwards, Hillary could officially run for president, being the only person in American history to have the power of the president for six whole terms!

  22. um, okay, so Iraq was secular, wouldn’t have anything to do with any kind of religious fight. oh, except giving money to families of palestinian bombers. And if I recall correctly Saddam started getting fairly religous once he realized what kind of trouble he was in. Can’t hurt to have people that hate the same people you do help out now can it? Cause this war is just about killing muslims isn’t it?

  23. I am fairly certain that there are people with reasonable arguments as to why we should not have taken Hussein out. Unfortunately the only ones that ever speak up are like iraqwarwrong. This person is incoherent, borderline illiterate and thinks that circular reasoning is argument.

  24. Yes, Frank, I’ve heard that rumor. It’s what keeps me awake at night, and gives me nightmares when I do sleep.
To the local troll, I don’t think anyone was going to go racists on you by asking what your native language is. It’s just that if it IS English, you need a tutor (or you’re 11). As to your 12:24 post, WHAAAAAAAAA?

  25. Kyle: but everyoen knows the terrist camp was in teh NO FLY ZONE thus uncontrolled by Saddam. He couldn’t even FLY there how could he support terrors there!
maggie katzen: but Palestinians do not have religious goals they just want their own country from Jews.
dvgulliver: YEs I knew that (educated) but that was on account of Bush’s lies. She opposed the war if there were was no lies just iwth the lies she voted yes but the lies aren’t real the lies reflect non reality that’s why the ylies.
J.R.: You can’t attack my substance you attack sladner my literacy is taht it? no wonder you vote for chimpy-dunce
Greywolf: nice try but wrong can’t be changed by your baseliss assurtions. Wrong stays wrong.

  26. Hillary vote for the war on account of BUSH’S LIES?
    What lies?
WMDs? Support of terrorism? Violation of UN resolutions?
Weren’t those the same reasons her husband gave when he bombed Baghdad in 1998?
If anything, it was because of Bill’s lies!

  27. Just a quick question. Does anyone involved in the current trolling/argument really think that they are going to change the opinions of anyone on the opposing side of the argument(as opposed to just taking up space in the comments section)? I’m not saying that debate isn’t a good thing, but sometimes when you’re kicking a dead horse it’s best to admit he’s dead & just let him rot.
So now, a show of hands. Who’s offended by the imagry/implications of a dead horse? I’m sure someone is going to let me know that it’s offensive to some group/nation/creature/ideology based on how the rest of the comments have been flowing.

  28. iraqwarwrong, if you’re not familiar with the British education(sic) system, then why did you assume that Greywolf was talking about that? In America, public schools are the opposite of what they are in Britain. In Britain they are the prestigious ones(Eton, Harrow), in America they are truly ‘public’ and are run by teacher’s unions who fight every attempt to get some accountability for the teachers. The unions are also incredibly liberal and shove their ill-informed views down a captive audience’s throat. He was calling you an idiot in case you haven’t figured it out yet.
Geez, you are pretty lame. Read the muckadoo post and re-read the part about being a muckadoo if you come this site to seriously debate the issues.
You should go to Misha’s site. You would love it.

  29. IWW aka troll:
Please go away, you’re validating my worst fears about the yoooths of today and their over developed sense of importance. As someone who actually experienced combat, (you missed me you little commie bastards!) At this site, rants must include wit; a feature painfully lacking in your personality. IWW = monkey-boy spawn of Satan.

  30. People. How can we have a rational argument with anyone from the left. We exist in different realities and base assumptions about life are different. They can never follow logic.
Let me put it to you this way. Let’s say I’m outside your bedroom (it stinks BTW, clean it up).
I suspect you are doing something (drugs – paint chips?) So I go get mom.
Mom, we have to get in there. IWW is doing something.
You refuse to open the door.
Let us in. You’re doing drugs again! (or Jerking off over a Michael Moore book – who knows)
So we bust down the door and go in.
Okay. First. Why did you refuse to open the door? Yeah, rights. rights -rights. (BTW the other half of that is DUTY. Not doodie – but that’s the part where we live in different realities)
Secondly, now that I’m in your room and i previously KNEW you did NOT have drugs – well, NOW what?
See, there’s no logical conclusion. Sure, you can have a conspiracy theory. But first you must CONSPIRE towards something.
    Try this
    BUSH LIED.
    Okay. Take it from there.
    WHY?
Oil? Most of our oil comes from Canada, Mexico, and Venezuela.
    Halliburton? The “Pipleline” in Afghanistan?
oops. Work is here. gotta go. Somebody finish this for me.

  31. Lets get to the point here folks. Wether the war in iraq is right or wrong is an opinion. Not a fact, as the division of what is right or wrong is a by product of your individual mind.
An example. Saddam gases his own people. To any rational (in my opinion) person, this would be considered wrong and evil with a capital E. To his warped mind he was probably doing a good thing.
Another example. The Muckadoo’s on the Left comparing Bush to Hitler. Now I may not like all of Bush’s policies, but to even put him in the same sentance as Hitler is moronic. That doesn’t stop supposadly “smart” people from making the claim though.
That being said. As a card carrying independent, and someone who did reluctatly vote for Gore in the last election. I’m glad we as a nation went into iraq and kicked the shit out of that bastard. And the only way I see myself voting for Kerry is if he picks up some moderate right-wing politicans to serve as his VP/Cabient members.

  32. I am not sure if iraqwarwrong was referring to me or not, it is not specific, but I will address it as such:
“Another shockingly ignorant post from you.”
OK, there are others? Or do you just disagree?
“You’re are just jealous that Kerry served in Vietnam while your guy (i.e. Bush) didn’t even serve a DAY ion HIS war (Iraq.) who’s the hippocrite now?”
For one thing, I am not jealous that John Kerry served in Vietnam. I am thankful he did serve the country. President Bush also served the country, however. Flying fighter jets in any capacity is not easy, and I thank President Bush for his service in the National Guard, where he was in for close to 5 years, which is also a honorable profession.
I don’t consider serving in the military a requirement to being President, because the Constitution did not make it a requirement.
I would hope, however, that the President supports the military to the fullest extent possible. Some have, and some have not.
I have a number of reasons why I will not be voiting for John Kerry, one of the primary reasons for his actions AFTER he returned from Vietnam, where he accused my father, who also fought in Vietnam, as a sgt. in the Army, of war crimes.
    http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnkerry.com/
As for being a “hippocrite” (hyocrite perhaps?),
see my above comments on military service, and it goes without saying that I am not a hypocrite.
It is amazing that in a two line post, I get insulted twice, one for being “shockingly Ignorant” and being a “hippocrite.” Seeing your later posts, I could say the same, but I think you are just mis-informed, which is fine, this is a free country.
As for Iraq, I have been upset ever since we did not get Saddam from the first Gulf War. Our Forces were in eyesight of Baghdad when the call came to turn around.
Watching the Clinton administration over the years trying to deal with Saddam was equally as frustrating, as Saddam basically gave the UN and the US a certain finger and continued to do what we know about today: Mass graves, continued weapons production, etc. I was hopeful in 1998 when President Clinton took some action, but I thought it was not enough. Saddam kicked out the UN inspectors, and the UN did nothing. It is surprising to read some of the President Clinton’s supporters and what they said in regards to Saddam, since most of them today say the exact opposite, including John Kerry, among others.
In 2002, when President Bush spoke to the UN in regards to what is happening, it was a powerful, and in my opinion, a needed speech. They even passed that resolution, 1454? I have to check.
Anyway, there are a number of reasons why I supported this war, including the facts that SH violated every agreement he signed after the conclusion of the Gulf War I, his daily firings on Coalilition Jets in the No Fly Zone (I consider this an Act of War), and his refusal to cooperate with the UN, in regards to recent resolutions passed. On the terrorism angle, as he signed off checks for $25,000.00 for every family of homicide bombers in Israel, is enough evidence for me that he supports terrorism, and he needed to be removed from power. There is other evidence, as supported by the Russian Intelligence, and a number of terrorists being in his country during the 1990’s. I doubt you find any of these true, or it is not relevant, etc.
I do want to state that although I disagree with him on many issues, Joe Libermann (SP?) has been a staunch supporter of this war, and I applaud him for the courage he has shown. I think this was the primary reason why he was pretty much destroyed in the Democratic primaries.
Finally, on Iraq, now that power has been turned over to the Iraqi people, I am optimistic that the country will continue on it’s way to freedom. It will take many years, just as Germany and Japan did. (5 years and 7 years, respectively) I continue to think it is a worthwhile, and noble, effort.
There are a number of blogs available from Iraq, that describe things that are going on, and this is one of my favorites:
    http://www.iraqthemodel.blogspot.com/
I do want to clear up my statements in regards to Hillary. I did not support her in any capacity, whether she was First Lady, or her being a Senator. I will not support her if she is the candidate for VP, nor if she runs for President in 2008. Others here have posted her voting record, and that is that. Her statements about Presidnet Bush knowing about September 11th, her recent speech about repealing the tax cuts recently passed, and a number of other factors contribute to my thoughts that she is not a good candidate for being President. That being said, I feel that it would make more sense for her to wait to run, especially if President Bush wins in 2004. But we shall see. it is in interesting political item.
As others said, I would like to see a woman as a candiadte for president or vice president, as long as that woman stands for what I believe in. Hillary Clinton does not.

  33. Hey asshat, how’s this for proof:
NEWS TRANSCRIPT: Secretary Rumsfeld Interview with Roger Hedgecock, Newsradio 600 KOGO. Wednesday, June 30, 2004:
    Sec Rumsfield speaking:
“….. Now what’s actually happened? Right now you have the Iraqi Survey Group, which is a multinational group that’s out there reviewing documentation and looking at suspect WMD sites. I was with the Polish minister of defense this weekend in Istanbul, Turkey at the NATO Summit. And in the course of that, he pointed out that his troops in Iraq had recently come across — I’ve forgotten the number, but something like 16 or 17 — warheads that contained sarin and mustard gas.
Now these are weapons that we always knew Saddam Hussein had that he had not declared and they have tested them and I have not seen them and I have not tested them, but they believe that they are correct that these, in fact, were undeclared chemical weapons — sarin and mustard gas — quite lethal and that is a discovery that just occurred within the last period of days. …”

  34. Not scare. I, was just driving somewhere (back now). (Good food w/sausages, keesh, etc.)
I don’t see why you make this so personal (attackic vitriol etc). I, keep (try to) my comments of non pesonal nature, most limited to simple gentle reminders of the fact that the Iraq war was wrong. (Which, is all that I really want to say, really.) Just a messenger here! I guess some like to blame the messenger as in ancient custom.
So, you see, no need to raise emotion so much. Wtih much fond respectful admiration (although many here wrong),

  35. The problem is your stating an opinion like it’s a fact. Not only that but you have not cited one valid reason why anyone should listen to your opinion. You can’t expect anyone to take you seriously if you just chime in and say something is wrong repeativly.
Also could you please take five seconds to review what you write. You are constantly leaving out important words. Which in effect, destroys any chance of you making a persuasive argument.

  36. OK, I’m just going to copy and paste my comment from the other post.
    “iraqwarwrong,
All we’re looking for is for you to give us a real reason for why the war is wrong. If you can’t do that, please don’t waste our time by replying.”

  37. Ah, I understand better a little now your thoughts and complaints. To explain justify (partly) I should explain, I didn’t want to elaborate much (this not my we-blog) so I kept my points short simple and sweet for effect, limtied to gentle reminders of Iraq war wrongness.
But you (got annoyed because) want Reasons for wrongness in spacific. To this end 1) you could clik my sight not waste Frank J.’s (wrong abouyt Iraq war) time, or 2) here is partial (not complete – some merely examplary) list:
-unilateral is bad (worse) then Multilateral (better.). “coalition” is deeply deceptive unilateral concept.
-no French (Francais in French) Army (Armee) involvement. (How can U.S. fight war against someone without (sans) France, makes no sense hestorically)!
-Bush lied as we all know (savior) (WMD programs not same as WMD, etc).
-no UN endorsement. (Kofi Anna,n man of peace, criticized us publically in front of the whole world! I don’t feel good about this)
-no WMD found which means (proves) WMD were never there at any time. (WMD heavy to move)
-Neocons Trotskyites controlled puppet strings of gov’t. (this idea, very unAmerican)
-We should never havea gone in in first place.
    -Not enough troops used.
-We spend too much money on army, should reduce size for “peace dividend” (i.e. after school programs).
-Endanger of requiring draft (so0metime soon) (I can point you to stories about this up on request)
-Tony Blair said 45 minutes but it was much longer then that.
-Saddam very bad man but no Operational involvement in 9/11 (flimsy loose ties at best.) If we had to fight everyone who knew about and funded those involved in 9/11 and larger A’l Qa’i’da network, we may have to kill dozens if not hundreds of Muslims (ARabs) peoples
there, I have understood your request (for reasons) and supplied. Please, try to understand me, in return (better).
    Cordially respect,

  38. Impossible-but-Not-Wholly-Improbable Scenerio:
John gets Hillary on the ticket. They win in November. Hillary and John have an affair in the Oval Office (ha! Take that you bastard… OOO John!)Hillary is impregnated with John’s love child which is proclaimed on Weekly World News as an alien fetus. The bablien is born and immediately starts killing Jews and Christians. John claims it is impossible that he is the father since he has never slept with another woman besides the one he is currently married to. This all makes sense when Hillary claims that it is impossible that she is the mother since she has never been a woman.

  39. no French (Francais in French) Army (Armee) involvement. (How can U.S. fight war against someone without (sans) France, makes no sense hestorically)!
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
    It makes no sense hysterically!
We fought World War II without the French; I think we can manage. 😀

  40. Ic, you’re one of the stupidest readers he has (possibly excepting IraqWarWrong and Jim E., but that remains to be seen), because you are too freakin’ ignorant to realize that you DON’T MAKE THREATS against people like that – ESPECIALLY people who have Secret Service watching them, because they WILL track you down and investigate it, idiot.

  41. I posted earlier:
“Hillary vote(d) for the war on account of BUSH’S LIES?
    What lies?
WMDs? Support of terrorism? Violation of UN resolutions?
Weren’t those the same reasons her husband gave when he bombed Baghdad in 1998?
If anything, it was because of Bill’s lies!”
    iraqwarwrong responded:
“Bill didn’t invade Iraq Bush did. Let’s keep teh chronology correct here!”
    I agree:
    1. Bill Clinton claimed Iraq had WMD’s.
    2. Clinton bombed Iraq.
    3. Bush claimed Iraq had WMD’s, just like Clinton.
    4. Hillary voted for the war without refuting claims.
    5. Bush invaded Iraq.
It’s important to note that Hillary voted for the war BEFORE the invasion and AFTER Bill bombed Baghdad. Also, bombing a country is usually an act of war too.
If it’s true that Bush lied, shouldn’t Hillary have admitted her husband lied too?

  42. iraqwarwrong wrote,
“-no WMD found which means (proves) WMD were never there at any time. (WMD heavy to move)”
One fundamental flaw in this statement and other like it, “The absence of evidence IS NOT evidence of absence”. Logic just does not like to be twisted like that!

  43. To All – I looked over iraqwarwrong lastest posts, and I could sit here and type out a rebuttal, but why bother? It is a waste of time, as others have said. I happened to click on his blog, and saw a few things such as links to a few people there, and I don’t need to go any farther, I have heard all the anti-war stuff already, and Frank, among others, has debunked it.
To whoever it is behind iraqwarwrong, I don’t think your posts here do much but to validate my opinion, as well as others, that not only the Iraq war was good, it was a just cause. You can list anything you want, in short or long posts, but you won’t convince me otherwise. President George W. Bush did the right thing, the Congress of the United States also did the right thing by voting for this war, and the UN actually did one thing right, by passing that resolution 1441.
As far as I am concerned, any country, government, dictator, etc. that decides to align, aid, help, nurish, support, hide, or in any other way aid any terrorist group that aims to do harm to the United States or her citizens, is an enemy of the United States, and Saddam was one of those that qualify. He has supported terrorism, and he paid the price.
Time will tell if Iraq can become a stable and free country. I am optimistic that it will. Rather than continuing to be negative about this war, wouldn’t it be prudent to try to help the Iraqi people succeed in making themselves free? The debate over the war is over, it has happened, and now the job of reconstruction and rebuilding continues.
I believe in freedom, I believe that the human spirit longs for it, and I hope that one day, all the oppressed people of the world, from Cuba, China, etc. can live under the banner of freedom one day.

  44. Um, iraqwarwrong, I did look at your blog, as much as I could, and saw your links to others, and I have seen what they said before, and I don’t need to look any farther. You anti-war folks are in another dimension or something, apparently. I stand by my statements.

  45. We need a Muckadoo themesong. Somebody write one.
    “Here I come…
    walk down your street…
    get the funniest looks from…
    everyone I meet…
    Hey hey I’m a Muckadoo!
    People say I’m muckin’ around
But I’m too busy posting stupid ideas
and thinking I’m puttin’ everybody down…”
Yeah, the meter is off at the end, but hey, deal with it. If you don’t like the song, it’s because you’re a muckadoo.

  46. There’s no way that iraqwarwrong is a real person who really believes what he is posting. No one who cares that much about Iraq could possibly be that ignorant.
WMD hard to move around? I could transport a considerable amount of WMD in my car! Maybe not as a warhead, but the chemicals and nerve agents themselves are not large at all (nor are they “heavy to move”). Furthermore, the French army is not capable of deploying a significant amount of troops (few armies other than the US Army are). And finally, in order to have a peace dividend, you have to be at peace. So far as I know, the group who declared war on us, and who has committed several acts of war against us, has yet to agree to sign a peace treaty.
Of course, that last could be because every time they stick their heads up…

  47. No offense irawwarwrong, but your a moron. Actually take offense because it was intended.
WMD don’t have to be heavy at all. Vials of Chemical weapons count as WMD’s and they can be light and stored in small containers. Not to mention that Sadam had 10 years of the UN doing nothing to move them anywhere he wanted to.
If you didn’t know this already, Iraq is a F***ING DESERT. do you know how easy it is to hid stuff under sand?
I really need to find the pictures, but earlier in the war the US army was combing the desert and found a fully functional MIG Fighter Plane under the sand. Not viewable from the air, and from the pictures I saw not even viewable as you walked over it.
    On to the next point.
France? France NEVER sends troops anywhere. Even when they ask us to. They let us fight their wars for them, and then complain when we fight ours. France is a none factor nowadays. They just havn’t figured it out yet. They arn’t even my top five of countries needed to form a coalition. They rank somewhere after Estonia and before Djibuti.
    Next point.
You said something about us going in by ourselves? Are you informed at all? Only 3 countries in NATO didn’t support this war. And one is France who never sends troops and the other is Germany that can’t have a military. Not to mention that Russia, Turkey, and various other much more important countries ended up supporting the war. So yet again. Read the facts, not propaganda.
    Next Point.
We spend so much money on our military, because ever freakin country in the world uses us as part of their military. Examples, Germany, South Korea, the Balkans, Africa, Asian Rim, Japan. All of these places at some point in the last 20 years would have been invaded/decimated without OUR military being so strong and defending their countries.
Not only that but we spend hundreds of billions of dollars making sure our military uses things called smart weaponry and less-then lethal technology. We do this because we, as much as it pains you to say, are the GOOD GUYS. We could easily save more then half of our defense budget if we didn’t give a shit about other countries.
I’m to tired to go after the rest of your “reasons” but rest assured, the rest is as easy to pick apart. Just providing us links to liberal propaganda websites doesn’t prove anything.
There are many valid reasons why going to war might have been a bad/wrong thing. You just havn’t hit on any of them.
Lastly, would you PLEASE review what you type before you post it. Half of what you write doesn’t make sense.
