New Blogger!

After a little negotiatiating, I got a new blogger to join IMAO. He’ll be making his first post on Monday. Not even the other IMAO authors know about this, as I want to make sure it’s a surprise for everyone.
Also Monday, the next chapter in “In My World: Un-Poofy.”

  1. Frank, make it stop. Everyone I know who reads IMAO (Yes, people talk about you offline) is disappointed. Change is sometimes good, but this change sucks. It’s like a bully stepping on your sand castle when you’re a little kid. It’s not depressing or angering. It’s devastating and shocking. I like all of the other bloggers, but I think you should have a vote on the group blog. If most people like it, it should stay, but it would be foolish to keep something that the bulk of your loyal readers dislike. ::sigh:: Maybe my words will be ignored, but maybe the complaints have some merit? SarahK needs to beat some sense into Frank J.

  2. Yes a vote!
    Take a poll!
    You used to do those!
    Do them again!
    I’m with Charlie!
I’m addicted to exclamation points and I can’t stop!
    Bring back the funny!
Stop jumping over that poor shark!
Whew… Thank God that’s over… it was scary for a minute there.

  3. Add me to the list of the disappointed. Been a fan of IMAO for over a year. I come here because I enjoyed Frank’s view of things and his humor.
I don’t want to come here to see either people trying to be like Frank or be different from Frank. If I wanted to read them I’d go to their sites and read their blogs.
Unlike the cliche that sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of the parts this group blog idea is not working for me. Rather than creating a greater whole it seems only to have diminished the individual parts.
I’ll visit on occasion to see if Frank has posted something or reverted to a dedicated blog, but it seems IMAO is going to go the way of Allahpundit…

  4. The odd thing is that the new IMAO bloggers are really very good, so there’s definitely not a drop in quality in my opinion.
And yet, I come here specifically to get inside the warped mind of one individual, the one and only Frnak J.
However, if this move enables to Frank to stave off burnout and retain a presence on IMAO rather than going dark altogether, why then … it’s all good I guess.

  5. For those who claim that they’d just read this stuff on my blog if they wanted to read it, you’re wrong.
If I wasn’t part of IMAO, I wouldn’t be taking the time to write this stuff at all.
    Which, I suppose wouldn’t really break anyone’s heart 🙂
